Maharashtra has got the gift of another Vande India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Vande India on the Pune route from Nagpur. This train has also made a record of its own. Actually, this is the longest distance to cover Vande India. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has expressed happiness over this and thanked PM Modi.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “Today it is a matter of great pleasure for all of us that Pune Vande Bharat train has started from Nagpur. We had demanded from the Railway Minister and he had asked to take positive decisions. The decision has been implemented today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hands.”

Nagpur-Pune Vande India will travel 881 km
He further said that the most important thing of this train is that this is the longest distance train in all the Vande India started till date. This train will cover a distance of 881 km in 12 hours and will remain at all major stations. Due to this, connectivity for the people of Vidarbha and North Maharashtra is going to increase on a very large scale.

Plan to reduce the distance of this Vande India
CM Fadnavis said, “Thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for starting this train. With this we have also demanded that this train goes from Ahalyanagar to Daund and then to Pune. Due to the dear, the distance increases by more than 100 kilometers. So a route from Ahalyanagar to Pune will also benefit, which will also benefit MIDC.”

The Chief Minister further said, “Apart from this, we have also offered that the new Expressway which is being built on the route of Sambhajinagar-Halyanagar-Pune, by giving additional right-offs, is able to accommodate it with the railway, then it will be intensified. Railways will get dynamics and will be able to play an hour.”
