World’s First Narco Test: Narco test is an interesting forensic technique. It is used during criminal investigation. Actually, in this a drug, which is usually sodium pentothal, is given to the person to take him to a state of semi-consciousness or hypnosis. After going into this state, all the hesitations of the person are reduced and it is believed that his ability to lie is also suppressed. This technique is used to obtain true information from the person. Today we will know when the narco test was first done and how criminals confess their crimes by using it.

When did the narco test start?

This test was first performed in 1922 in the United States by Dr. Robert House, an gynecologist from Texas. The doctor had used a drug called Scopolamine on two prisoners to see if this drug could force them to tell the truth.

How does this test work?

Narco test is based on some medicines. These are usually called truth serums. These medicines affect the normal functioning of the brain. Substances like sodium pentothal or sodium amytal reduce self-control and the power of imagination of the human mind. It is because of this that a person is not able to fabricate a false story.

First of all, the medicine is delivered to the person’s body through injection. The quantity of medicine depends on the age, gender, health and physical condition of the person. This test is completed by a team of experts. This team includes an anesthesiologist, psychiatrist, clinical or forensic psychologist, and medical staff to monitor the person’s condition.

When the person reaches a complete trance-like state, the doctor starts asking him questions. Video recording of this entire process is done. This is because during this entire process the person can give some information which can come out spontaneously or without any filter and which can be considered as a clue.

Accuracy and limitations

Despite scientific validation, narco test is not completely reliable. Under the influence of medicine, a person can mix truth with imagination. This is the reason why statements given during narco test are not considered legally or scientifically conclusive. At the most, those things are used as investigative clues for further investigation.

Legal and constitutional aspects in India

No person can be forced to undergo narco test in India. Doing so is a violation of Article 20 (3) of the Indian Constitution. At the same time, this test can be done only with the person’s own will and informed consent. The results of this test are not accepted as direct evidence in court. However, if any new evidence or material is found as a result of the information obtained during the narco test, then it is accepted under Section 27 of the Indian Evidence Act 1872.

Sonam raghuvanshi raj kushwaha narco test: In the famous Raja Raghuvanshi murder case in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, the Shillong police are making several shocking revelations during interrogation of 8 days police remand by the accused. In view of the new Raj, which is opening daily in the case, the family of King Raghuvanshi has demanded that Sonam and Raj Kushwaha have a narco test.

The family says that more people may be involved in this murder. Actually Raja Raghuvanshi was murdered in Shillong and behind this murder was his own wife Sonam Raghuvanshi and his companions. The Shillong police arrested Sonam Raghuvanshi and four accused on the basis of evidence, including Raj Kushwaha, Akash Rajput, Vishal Chauhan and Anand Kurmi, who live in Indore.

Within 1 month, King Raghuvanshi was murdered after the wedding and it is being said to be a well -planned conspiracy, on the other hand, the evidence of Sonam Raghuvanshi coming to Indore is now coming to light, out of which a flat which is in Hira Bagh Colony of Dewas Naka has also been revealed.

In the coming time, Shillong Police can bring Sonam Raghuvanshi to Indore, while the flat was rented on his Aadhaar card by Vishal Chauhan. Vishal Chauhan can also return to Indore with Sanam for investigation related to that flat.

Currently, the family of King Raghuvanshi has demanded the Narco Tasti of Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raj Kushwaha and he fears that many more people can join this conspiracy, whose name may be revealed on the basis of status.
