India US Deal: It has been agreed to continue talks regarding the ongoing proposed trade deal between India and America. The three-day talks between the officials of the two countries ended on April 23. Earlier, both the countries had issued a joint statement. A blueprint was presented in this.

Its purpose was to ensure mutually beneficial trade deals between the two countries. The Indian delegation has gone to Washington as part of the negotiation process. During this, talks were held face to face between the officials of both the countries.

On behalf of the Government of India, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a statement that many issues were covered. These include key points like how to access the market, technical regulations, customs procedures and ease of trade, promotion of investment, digital commerce and economic security.

America reduced tariff duty on India

On behalf of the Ministry, it was said that these discussions took place in a positive and constructive atmosphere. Both countries will remain in touch in this regard. America has reduced the tariff duty on Indian goods to 18 percent.
