The politics of changing the name has once again been hot in Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Health Narendra Shivaji Patel, while supporting the change of name of Hamidia Hospital, described former Nawab Hamidullah Khan as ‘traitor’. He said that the Nawab had supported the people of India to shoot, in which more than six people lost their lives.

According to Minister Patel, the names of public institutions should not be named after such persons. This statement came a day after the Bhopal Municipal Corporation passed the proposal to change the name of this major hospital hundred years old.

In fact, on Friday (July 25), the state -of -the -art CT scan and MRI machine at Hamidia Hospital was launched by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. According to PTI, only after this, BJP Councilor Devendra Bhargava proposed in the Municipal Corporation meeting that the names of Hamidia Hospital, Hamidia College and Hamidia Road should be changed. He argued that such names respect the personality who was against independent India. Congress councilors opposed this and said that only the state government has the right to change the name of public institutions.

Congress retaliated, told to distract attention

Targeting the BJP, the Congress called it a strategy to divert attention from the real issues of the people. Madhya Pradesh Congress media in -charge Abhinav Barolia said that the condition of the roads of Bhopal is worse, drains are overflowing in the monsoon, dirt is spread in public places but the government is not doing any work on them. He alleged that the government is running the agenda of Hindu-Muslim division so that the eye can be removed from the basic problems of the citizens.

This dispute has given rise to a new debate in Bhopal and all over Madhya Pradesh- should the names of institutions be changed based on the assessment of historical figures? While the BJP is calling it a historical justice, the Congress is calling it an attempt to communal polarization.

Health and Medical Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel arrived at the ‘Quality Restaurant’ located in the City Center of Gwalior, where he was allegedly angry at the kitchen after not getting the table.

According to the information, Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel reached the quality restaurant for dinner after participating in a private program. At that time there was more crowd in the restaurant, due to which the staff could not provide them the table immediately. According to the restaurant owner, the minister was asked to sit on the upper floor, but he got angry with it and reached the kitchen directly with his staff.

Controversy and assault

According to eyewitnesses, there was an argument between the supporters of the minister and the restaurant staff, which later turned into a scuffle. After this, the team of Food Department also reached the spot and took samples of food items in the restaurant. Minister Patel said in a statement to the media that, “I had reached the quality restaurant after inspecting the hospital and ambulance.

Restaurant owner cleaning

At the same time, the restaurant operator says that a person was calling himself a minister. When he was told that all the seats of the ground floor are booked and there was a seating arrangement, they were enraged and reached the kitchen with supporters. The operator alleged that the people with the minister beat up the staff.

Congress leader Umang Singhar reacted sharply to the incident. He said, “The farmer of Madhya Pradesh stands in line for hours for fertilizer, but the government does not matter. But when a minister did not get the table in the hotel, the entire administration ran, the hotel operator was assaulted, the food safety officer was called.

Demand for viral video and investigation

The CCTV video of this entire incident has gone viral on social media. People have demanded from the administration that the matter should be investigated objectively and it should be clarified whether it was a government investigation or the expression of personal anger.
