Former BSP leader in Lucknow Naseemuddin Siddiqui joined Samajwadi Party after resigning from Congress. This joining took place in the presence of party chief Akhilesh Yadav. Along with him, BSP’s Anees Ahmed Khan and former state president of Apna Dal S Raj Kumar Pal also joined SP.

Dr. Danish Khan, who has previously been an assembly candidate, and former MLA Dinanath Kushwaha also took membership of the Samajwadi Party. SP is looking at the entry of many influential faces simultaneously as a way to expand the organization before 2027.

Emphasizing on discipline, he said that first the discipline of the party, then the order of the National President and then the ideology will have to move forward in this order.

He said that the goal should be clear, Samajwadi Party government has to be formed in 2027 and the national president has to be made the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The further strategy will be decided later, but full strength will have to be applied from now on.
