After this landslide victory, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda has expressed his gratitude to the people of Bihar in his response. JP Nadda shared a post on social media platform X on Friday (14 November). First of all he wrote in the post, ‘Many greetings to the people of Bihar. Hail Siya Ram.’

What did the BJP President say to the people of Bihar?,

He further said, ‘The historic public support received by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar is a seal of public confidence in the development-oriented and public welfare policies of the double engine government under the guidance of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This overwhelming majority is proof that our brothers and sisters of Bihar have completely rejected the jungle raj and corruption of the Grand Alliance and have accepted the dimensions of good governance, stability and development of the NDA.

JP Nadda said, “On behalf of all the workers, I heartily congratulate and thank the people of Bihar for the tremendous mandate given by the people of Bihar. These results show that this is a tsunami. This tsunami has made it clear that whether it is the people of Bihar or the people of the country, everyone has unwavering faith in the respected Prime Minister and he has approved the politics of development to take the state forward.”

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda said on Friday (October 31, 2025) that the Bihar assembly elections are a fight between the dark era of jungle raj of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the development era of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government.

In an election meeting in Bikram, Patna, the capital of Bihar, BJP President JP Nadda said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar has moved rapidly on the path of development and we have to keep this path safe. He said, ‘One crore government jobs and other employment opportunities have been guaranteed in the NDA election manifesto. If the alliance comes to power again, new doors of employment will open for the youth of Bihar.

He further said, ‘There is also a proposal in the manifesto to change the name of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi for farmers to Karpoori Thakur Samman Nidhi, under which farmers will get a total of Rs 9,000 in three equal installments throughout the year. Earlier, farmers were given installments of Rs 2,000 three times.

Union Health Minister targeted RJD

Targeting Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Nadda said, ‘RJD means extortion, jungle raj and bullying.’ He said that RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav raises the issue of migration to Bihar, whereas his father Lalu Prasad himself used to say that when Biharis go out, they wear gamchha and when they return, they wear suit and tie.

He said, ‘There was a time when the sound of generators used to echo in the villages and cities of Bihar, but today electricity has reached every house. Today there is internet in every village, due to which the content creators and influencers of Bihar are making their mark in the digital world.

More than 5 crore Biharis benefited from Ayushman Bharat scheme – Nadda

Union Health Minister JP Nadda said, ‘The Nitish Kumar led government has given financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to 75 lakh women. If NDA gets a chance again, an amount of Rs 2 lakh will be given to every woman to make her self-reliant. He said that under the Centre’s Ayushman Bharat scheme, health insurance coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh is being provided to 62 crore people of the country, including more than 5 crore Biharis.

Rs 200 crore approved for construction of pucca roads in villages – Nadda

While campaigning in support of candidate Siddharth Saurabh from Bikram Assembly constituency of Bihar, Nadda said, ‘He laid the foundation stone of the Trauma Centre, approved the construction of a bridge in Naubatpur which will solve the traffic problem. Rs 200 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of metalled roads in villages. BJP spokesperson Neeraj Kumar said that Nadda’s scheduled public meeting in Buxar district had to be canceled due to rain and bad weather.

Also read: ‘Infiltrators are a threat to India’s unity and demographic balance’, PM Modi said while targeting Congress

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday (October 28, 2025) while mentioning the situation of education, employment and human development in Bihar, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that the Modi-Nitish government has strangled the aspirations of the youth and has pushed the state into the abyss on every scale.

He shared a video of his interaction with some youth from Bihar studying in Delhi on social media platform X. In the post, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘A few days ago, there was a very interesting conversation with the youth of Bihar on every issue, education, health, employment. There is only one culprit for the plight of all this, the BJP-JD(U) government. He claimed, ‘The youth of Bihar know very well how in the last 20 years, the Modi-Nitish government has strangled their aspirations, left the state abandoned and pushed them into the trough on every parameter.’

Rahul Gandhi gave figures regarding the situation in Bihar

Referring to the condition of education in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Bihar ranks 27th among 29 states in terms of dropouts in class 9-10. It ranks 28th in terms of enrollment rate in classes 11–12 and 28th in terms of female literacy.’ While mentioning the employment situation, the Congress leader said that Bihar ranks 21st among 29 states in terms of employment in the service sector and 23rd in terms of employment in the industry/production sector. He also claimed that Bihar ranks 27th in terms of infant mortality rate, 29th in terms of health protection through insurance scheme and 29th in terms of toilet facility at home.

Apart from this, Rahul Gandhi, while mentioning the status of human development in Bihar, said that the state is ranked 27th in terms of Human Development Index (HDI) while its rank is 25th in terms of per capita income.

Double engine government has pulled Bihar from progress – Rahul Gandhi

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha said, ‘These are not just figures, they are mirrors. The ‘rear view mirror’ is showing how much the double engine (government) has pulled Bihar back from progress. All the Bihari youth I have met are very promising and intelligent. They can shine everywhere on the strength of their ability and hard work, but instead of opportunities the government has given them only unemployment and disappointment. He emphasized, ‘Now is the time for change, time to rekindle the self-respect of Bihar. It is time to reiterate the grand alliance’s resolve for justice.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (October 23, 2025) has fiercely targeted Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He said that Jungle Raj will be discussed in Bihar for the next 100 years and no matter how much the opposition tries to hide its misdeeds, the public will not forgive it.

Taking a dig at RJD-Congress amid announcement of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial face of the grand alliance for Bihar elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ‘The opposition alliance is not ‘gathbandhan’ but ‘lathbandhan’ (alliance of criminals) because all its leaders from Delhi and Bihar are out on bail.’

Prime Minister Modi gave message to BJP workers

PM Modi asked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to ensure that elderly people inform the youth about the atrocities committed during Jungle Raj. Modi was referring to the time when RJD chief Lalu Prasad was the Chief Minister in Bihar.

Addressing the program ‘Mera Booth Sabse Strongest: Yuva Samvad’ through audio conference, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘People will not forget Jungle Raj in Bihar for the next 100 years and no matter how much the opposition tries to hide its misdeeds, the public will not forgive it.’

Bihar elections are about writing a new chapter in the history of the state – Prime Minister

PM Modi said, ‘I will ask all the youth of Bihar to gather youth at every booth and call the elders of that area and tell everyone the old stories of Jungle Raj.’ While talking to a BJP worker, he said that a Mahayagya of development is going on in the country and due to the stable government at the Center and Bihar, all-round work is being done.

He said, ‘Work is being done in every sector and every direction in Bihar. Hospitals are being built, good schools are being established and new railway routes are being developed. A big reason for this is that there is a stable government in the country and Bihar. When there is stability, growth is faster. This is also the strength of the NDA government of Bihar.

Prime Minister Modi said, ‘This is why the youth of Bihar are saying with enthusiasm, Bihar has gained momentum, NDA government again.’ He said that Bihar Assembly elections are about to write a new chapter in the history of the state and the youth will play an important role in it. He said that no one understands the power of public vote better than the brothers and sisters of Bihar. He appealed to the youth of the state to go door-to-door and request voters to exercise their franchise.

A new era of women empowerment will start in Bihar on 14th November – PM Modi

The Prime Minister said that a new era of women empowerment will begin in Bihar on November 14, when the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will again come to power. He asked the BJP workers to make a list of those women who have not yet received the benefits of the Chief Minister Mahila Rozgar Yojana and assured to include them in the scheme.

He said that workers of all the constituent parties of NDA should jointly run a campaign to increase awareness about government schemes among the voters. Opposition leaders only know how to fight among themselves and pursue their own interests.

Nitish Kumar and NDA Worked hard to get him out of Jungle Raj- PM Modi

The Prime Minister also said that the government is moving rapidly towards eradication of Naxalism and Maoist terrorism in Bihar. He said that Bihar needs to be made a technology and start-up hub, so that the youth do not move to other states and can earn their livelihood in the state itself. He said, ‘Nitish ji and NDA worked hard to take Bihar out of jungle raj and establish the rule of law. The people of Bihar are now proud of their identity.

Calling upon the workers to intensify the campaign, he said, ‘We all will have to stay among the people 24 hours a day for the next 20 days.’ Modi asked young BJP workers to connect with the first-time voters of Bihar and tell them about the power of their vote. Voting will be held in two phases in Bihar on 6th and 11th November. Counting of votes will take place on November 14.

Regarding the Bihar Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda has entered the election field to campaign for NDA. While addressing a public meeting organized in Aurangabad district of Bihar on Thursday (October 23, 2025), JP Nadda has targeted the entire grand alliance including Congress, RJD. He said that the Bihar elections are a fight between the growth of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the destruction of the Indian Alliance (Grand Alliance).

Taking aim at Congress, he described it as a parasitic party which destroys its smaller allies. During this, the BJP President made a sharp attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and said that Lalu Prasad’s party is a symbol of extortion, jungle raj and bullying. Along with this, he also raised questions on the grand alliance declaring RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate.

RJD and Congress rule in Bihar means anarchy and jungle raj- Nadda

Union Health Minister JP Nadda said, ‘The people of Bihar are well aware of the history of RJD and Congress rule. That period was a period of anarchy, jungle raj and obstacles in the path of development, which pushed Bihar back decades. Today these parties are dreaming of coming to power again, but the people of Bihar are not going to be confused anymore. The Grand Alliance is an unholy alliance formed only to gain power, which will only bring destruction to the state.

Taunted on Tejashwi’s claim of giving job

Taking a dig at Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of providing employment to the youth and stopping migration, Nadda said that such announcements of RJD are reminiscent of the job-for-land scam. He criticized RJD’s election promise that every family in Bihar will be given a government job. Nadda raised the question as to where the money will come from for this and how the salaries will be given.

On giving ticket to Shahabuddi’s son Osama RJD attack on

BJP President JP Nadda also reacted sharply to RJD giving ticket to Osama Shahab, son of late leader Mohammad Shahabuddin. He said, ‘RJD has fielded Shahabuddin’s son, how will such a party ensure the security of the people of Bihar? Lalu’s RJD is a symbol of extortion, jungle raj and bullying. RJD has made Osama Shahab its candidate from Raghunathpur assembly seat of Siwan district.

BJP President spoke about the rule of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar

JP Nadda said, ‘Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has freed Bihar from Jungle Raj in the last 20 years. The contest in this election is between development and destruction. The people of Bihar can never forget Jungle Raj. During the reign of Lalu Prasad, people were forced to migrate, whereas today Bihar is on the path of progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

He said, ‘Very few people know that I was born in Patna. I spent 20 years of my childhood in Bihar. I know that age of darkness and I also see this age of light. Today, this election clearly shows development with NDA and destruction with the Grand Alliance.

JP Nadda spoke on Bihar’s railway budget and Chhath festival.

Nadda claimed that the NDA government has done many things for the development of the state in the last few years. The central government has increased the railway budget of Bihar by almost 10 times. Of the 44 Vande Bharat trains launched recently, 26 are for Bihar. He also told that in view of the rush of passengers during Chhath festival, the Railway Ministry has increased the number of special trains to 12,000 this time.

Nadda appealed to the voters of Bihar

Nadda appealed to the voters to make NDA candidates victorious with huge votes to maintain the pace of development, so that the dream of including Bihar in the category of leading states of the country can be fulfilled. He said that a double engine government is inevitable for the overall development of Bihar.

Assembly elections have been announced in Bihar, but so far neither seat sharing has been done between the parties of NDA nor the Grand Alliance. Recently, election in -charge Dharmendra Pradhan and Vinod Tawde met Jitan Ram Majhi, Upendra Kushwaha, Lallan Singh and Sanjay Jha in Patna. Today on Tuesday (October 7, 2025), BJP leaders in Delhi met Chirag Paswan and spoke to him about seat sharing. Dharmendra Pradhan, Vinod Tawde and Mangal Pandey were present in the meeting.

The matter is hanging due to the demand of LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan on seat sharing in NDA. Charged sources say that seat sharing in NDA will be completed in the next two-three days and it can be announced soon.

BJP Offer, but Chirag kept this demand

If we talk about Chirag Paswan, then his party has a total of five Lok Sabha MPs in Bihar. Hajipur, Jamui, Vaishali, Samastipur and Khagaria. Every Lok Sabha constituency has an average of 6-6 assembly seats. According to sources, Chirag’s party has been offered to the assembly constituencies with good performance in the Lok Sabha elections by the BJP. According to this, Chirag’s party is getting about 22-23 seats. In addition, some more seats can be given to Chirag.

While Chirag wants to give 2-2 assembly seats in these areas on the basis of 5 Lok Sabha seats won in 2024, the rest of the seats should be found in different areas. With this, only 10 assembly seats will be fixed from these 5 Lok Sabha seats. Due to which the remaining seats will be expanded and strengthened by meeting other Lok Sabhas. Apart from this, the party is demanding respectable seats on the basis of the performance of the last assembly election and seats have also been sought for big leaders.

Picture stuck on the seat of Barhampur, Govind Ganj and Hisua

Chirag Paswan had damaged the NDA by fighting alone in the 2020 assembly elections, but this time the BJP wants Chirag to be with NDA, so that the big message will go to the elections. Apart from this, some seats have a sitting MLA of BJP and JDU, their demand is also being made. Barhampur and Govind Ganj, there are also screws on the seat of Hisua, for Hulas Pandey, the seat of Aberhampur and for Govind Ganj Raju Tiwari, Hisua seat also wants lamp for Dhirendra Kumar Munna.

Chirag Paswan has met BJP president many times regarding seat sharing

In the meeting held with him, BJP leaders have talked about considering his demands and considering his demands with the central leadership and meeting again. Talking about Chirag Paswan, he is demanding more than 40 seats and he is not in the mood to compromise with the seats. Although. Today was the first formal meeting with BJP leaders about seat sharing, before Chirag has also met BJP President JP Nadda many times.
