US President Donald Trump on Saturday posted a picture which reveals his outspoken style. He has playing cards in his hand whose message indicates his intentions. Trump made several posts one after the other on Saturday. There are some pictures in these, which have a glimpse of the old and now new days of America.

Trump wants to show that America’s present is better than its past. He wrote with a collage of two photographs, ‘America before and after Trump’s arrival.’ In this there is a picture of the pool of Lincoln Memorial, in which it is claimed that it was dirtier during the Obama era and cleaned during the Trump era. Apart from this, a picture of Mount Rushmore has been posted. He has done this before also.

Donald Trump’s fondness for Mount Rushmore is well known. On several occasions he has expressed his intention and desire to be a part of this historic statue located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. In this statue, the faces of his four former presidents, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln are carved. The most attention-grabbing picture of all is the one in which Trump is standing with playing cards in his hand. There are 6 cards, each of which has ‘Wild’ written on it. Along with this, an attempt is being made to convey through the caption that President Trump’s position remains strong. He has written in the caption, I have all the cards, that is, he is in a strong position and the game is in his hands. The whole world is worried about the permanent solution to the Iran conflict.

All eyes on Trump

Everyone’s eyes are on Trump. The US President is also continuously saying that he is interested in peace but the option of military action is still open. At the same time, he has also been expressing his displeasure with NATO. They have been alleging that these countries did not help them in the Iran conflict. Meanwhile, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s comments regarding America’s attack have also upset Trump. Only after this, quoting the American media, it is being said that a plan is being made to remove American military troops from Germany.

Donald Trump Appeal To Iran: US President Donald Trump has given a statement regarding the ongoing war between America and Iran. He has said that America will soon win the war with Iran. Apart from this, he has also said many things about the world including NATO, Britain and China. Now discussions on this are going on all over the world. At present, efforts for the second round of talks after the ceasefire between Iran and America have proved unsuccessful.

According to Al Jazeera, Trump has said in his statement that the ongoing war with Iran will end soon. America will win in this. In such a situation, efforts for dialogue are going on between the two countries. Meanwhile, Pakistan is playing the role of mediator.

Iran’s delegation will visit Russia

Here, Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi had handed over the list of demands related to war and peace to the leaders of Pakistan in Islamabad on Saturday. During this time, news came that Iran has refused to have direct talks with America. The delegation has also left Islamabad. However, Araghchi and some officers went to Oman, while some officers returned to Iran. Now the news is that after Oman, Araghchi has returned to Pakistan on Sunday, while other officials have also reached Islamabad from Iran. Now he will again go on a tour of Russia. Here, after refusing to negotiate with Iran, President Donald Trump had also canceled the visit of American negotiators.

Trump said- Hope Iran will take wise steps

The US President is seen continuously urging Iran for talks on this entire issue. Trump has not closed the door to negotiations in any way. At the same time, Iran believes that America is making maximalist demands. Trump has also said that some people of Iran are very intelligent. Some of these people are not intelligent. Some of them are in favor of talks, some are not in favor of talks.

Trump has also expressed hope that Iran will act wisely. He also said in a warning tone that if Iran does not take the right steps, the results will not be good. Trump is adamant on demanding Iran to cancel its nuclear program. Apart from this, Trump has reacted on NATO. He has said that when it was needed, it did not work. Apart from this, it has been said on China that China has not behaved badly. He could have been bad, but he acted gently.

Amidst the ceasefire in the Middle East, a big news has come out regarding the Donald Trump administration. America is now thinking of adopting a tough stance against those countries which did not support it in the war against Iran. According to the report of Politico, the White House has prepared a kind of good and bad list of NATO countries. In this list, countries have been placed in different categories on the basis of their defense expenditure and cooperation given to America.

The list was prepared before the visit of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to Washington. In this, many countries of Europe have been placed in different tiers based on their behaviour. Donald Trump has criticized European countries many times before. He says that many allied countries neither supported America in the Iran war nor helped in opening the Strait of Hormuz. Due to this, oil prices increased and the world economy was affected.

Also read: Iran hangs former Atomic Energy Organization official, accused of spying for Israel

Trump had warned NATO countries

Even before the war, Trump had warned NATO countries that if they did not live up to America’s expectations in defense spending and strategic cooperation, they might have to face consequences. US Defense Minister Pete Hegseth had also indicated about this. He had said that the countries which will support America, like Israel, South Korea, Poland, Germany and the Baltics, will get special support. Action can be taken against countries which do not cooperate.

How will Poland and Romania benefit?

Countries like Poland and Romania can benefit from this policy because they have supported America. However, questions are being raised on countries like Spain, because they objected to NATO’s spending and criticized the Iran war. At present it is not clear what kind of punishment or benefit America will give, but it may include changes in decisions like deployment of troops, joint military exercises and arms sales. A European official also said that America does not see any clear way to punish and if troops are removed, it could only harm America.

What did the White House say about NATO?

The White House has also expressed its views on this entire matter. Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly said that America has always stood with its allies, but during the Iran war, many countries did not support it. He also said that President Trump is not satisfied with this situation and America will remember this. The Pentagon has also said that it will further give priority to those countries which are playing an active role in collective security. However, some former officials believe that such a policy could further strain relations between Europe and America, especially at a time when the world is already facing many major crises.

US Iran War: An important meeting is going to be held in Islamabad on Friday amid efforts for peace regarding the Iran War. The participation of US Vice President JD Vance, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in this meeting has raised hopes for permanent peace in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Russia has adopted a blunt stance regarding the ongoing attacks on Lebanon by Israel. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart that Lebanon should also be included in any ceasefire agreement, as it is necessary for regional stability.

Russia bluntly

In a separate statement, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova strongly condemned Israel’s attacks in Lebanon. He said that such aggressive steps can derail the progress being made towards peace talks. This statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry clearly indicates that Russia is concerned about the increasing tension in the region and wants all parties to exercise restraint, so that progress can be made towards a solution through diplomatic efforts.

On the other hand, before the proposed talks in Islamabad, US President Donald Trump spoke to Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and advised to reduce Israeli attacks in Lebanon, so that the ceasefire with Iran can be taken forward.

Expectations from the meeting in Islamabad

It is noteworthy that despite the announcement of ceasefire between Washington, DC and Tehran on Wednesday, the situation could not be controlled. An Iranian refinery plant was attacked, after which Iran also retaliated and targeted Kuwait and Bahrain. At the same time, Israel also took major military action and fired more than 100 missiles in a very short time, which clearly shows that despite the ceasefire, the conflict does not seem to be stopping.

On one hand, efforts for peace are intensifying at the diplomatic level, while on the other hand, ongoing attacks at the ground level are challenging this process, due to which this meeting is being considered very important.

Today (April 3) is the 35th day of the Middle East war. Iran has claimed that it shot down an American fighter jet. Although America called Iran a liar. The US-Iran war has reached a fatal point and it does not seem to be stopping at the moment.

Trump (US President Donald Trump) Gave his address to the nation. He said, ‘Operation Fury will continue to protect America. We are continuously registering victories. He said, Iran has been punished for its wrongdoing, it wanted to make a dangerous missile.

Donald Trump’s repeatedly changing stance on the Iran war has created confusion across the world, including America. Iran war (Iran War) But Trump is also facing criticism on social media for his constantly changing stance. Some people are making fun of him by posting under the hashtag ‘Trump Always Chickens Out (Taco)’, that is, Trump withdraws or postpones his decisions due to pressure. US President Trump and his Foreign Minister Marco Rubio said that the war against Iran could end very soon.

Trump had earlier threatened Iran that attacks on Tehran would be intensified if it did not accept the 15-point US proposal. For this, Trump had given time of first 5 days and then 10 days. He has admitted for the first time that American operations in the Middle East have severely weakened the country’s capabilities.

Meanwhile, in an interview given to the Daily Telegraph, Trump said that the US is considering withdrawing from NATO after not helping America in military action against Iran. He described NATO as a paper tiger and said that he had doubted the credibility of NATO for a long time.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu) Said that Israel’s campaign against Iran’s regime is not over yet. He claimed that joint operations with America have shaken the roots of the Iranian regime. Netanyahu said, ‘Within a month of joint operation with America, we are crushing the reign of terror which was shouting slogans of ‘Down with America, Down with Israel.’

At the same time, Iran has now declared itself the gatekeeper of the Strait of Hormuz. This means that Tehran will charge a huge amount from any ship passing through this route. Before this, Iran had never used this route to earn money.

US President Donald Trump threatened to leave the North Atlantic Treaty Organization i.e. NATO on April 1, 2026. Even before this he had given threats many times, but this threat was not implemented. Why? Because leaving NATO is not just a press conference or tweet for America, but America can also lose the image of a global power country. Let us understand in the explainer why America cannot leave NATO?

Question 1: What is the process of leaving NATO membership?
answer: The birth of NATO in 1949 was a bitter compulsion born out of the debris of World War II, founded on the original North Atlantic Treaty. The process of exiting NATO is also mentioned in its Article 13. For:

20 year term: The treaty came into force on 24 August 1949. Therefore, after 1969, any member country got the right to exit.

It is necessary to give notice: The country has to give written notice of denunciation to the US government (Treaty Depositary) only one year in advance.

America’s role: America tells this information to all other member countries.

Out after a year: Exactly one year after giving the notice, the country completely separates from NATO. No further approval or debate required.

This article is very simple and clear. There are no complex conditions or veto power in this. Just one year’s notice is enough.

There are total 32 member countries in NATO

Question 2: Then America can also leave NATO under Article 13?
answer: No. It is not so easy for America to leave NATO that Trump threatened and walked out. America itself has made it difficult. In 2023-24, the US Congress passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Section 1250A. It was signed by former US President Joe Biden. It is written in it that the US President cannot suspend, terminate, deny or withdraw from NATO. To leave NATO, America needs 2/3 majority of the Senate or a separate law of Congress.

No fund can be used for this work. This law was specifically made to stop Trump. Congressional Research Service (CRS) Report R48868 states that this is the first law that prevents the President from withdrawing from a treaty. If Trump alone gives notice, there will be a constitutional crisis and the matter may go to the Supreme Court. That means Trump will not get rid of NATO just by making threats.

Trump has called NATO a paper tiger

Question 3: Does America need NATO? If not then why?
answer: Foreign affairs expert and JNU professor Rajan Kumar says that NATO is not only the security of Europe but also the basis of America’s global power projection…

US Military Base: About 1 lakh American soldiers are deployed in Europe. These bases cannot operate without NATO. If America leaves NATO, logistics, refueling and operations will become expensive and difficult.

Intelligence Sharing: NATO’s global nervous system is intelligence sharing. Local intelligence provides intelligence about countries like Russia, China, North Korea and Iran. The Atlantic Council and the Belfer Center say America cannot do this alone.

Mutual coordination: Many things including America’s F-35, ammunition and fuel are operated from other countries through NATO. Without NATO, America will have to fight alone.

According to Fair Observer’s report 2025, without NATO, America’s political weight in Europe will decrease. NATO makes America a European power. NATO’s share in US defense resources is only 15%, but its strategic value is very high.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said in the European Parliament, ‘America needs NATO as much as Europe needs it.’

Question 4: Despite this, what will happen if America tries to withdraw from NATO?
answer: Both parties in Congress (Democrats and Republicans) consider NATO the basis of American security. It is almost impossible for the withdrawal bill to pass in the Senate. Still, if America tries to leave, first of all a constitutional crisis will arise, then its global power will weaken, NATO will survive but will become weak…

If Trump gives information under Article 13, it will be a direct violation of the law. The US Congress will immediately protest, hold hearings, try to stop funds or threaten impeachment.

The matter may go to the Supreme Court. The court will rule on the basis of the Youngstown decision (1952) that the President cannot go against the law of Congress.

There will be a big impact on the American economy. Military bases, trade and arms sales will be affected. The report of Rand and Wilson Center says that due to reduction in security promises, bilateral trade could fall by $ 450 billion.

Global credibility on America will decrease. Allies will consider America as an ‘unreliable partner’. The rift has already increased after the Iran war. This could break the trans-Atlantic alliance.

At the same time, it will also affect NATO. NATO treaty will continue among the remaining 31 countries. Europe has already increased defense spending. Now European countries will rapidly build their defense infrastructure, but America’s lack of nuclear defense, command structure and modern technology will be felt.

Question 5: So are Trump’s claims of leaving NATO hollow?
answer: Rajan Kumar says, ‘Trump will continue his threats and efforts to withdraw from NATO. He can reduce funding and make statements against NATO, but will not be completely out.

NATO is an intergovernmental military alliance established on 4 April 1949, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. This is a collective security system, under which an attack on any one of the 32 member countries is considered an attack on all. Its purpose is to protect the independence and security of member states through political and military means.

Amidst the increasing tension in West Asia and global concern over the Strait of Hormuz, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has made it clear that his government’s focus is on the country’s economic interests, energy security and diplomatic solutions. He said that he understands why people are worried about rising inflation and everyday expenses, and the government is already working on a ‘five-point plan’ to deal with it.

Starmer assured that despite the circumstances, people will get immediate relief. He said, ‘Today your energy bills will be less, because the effect of the steps we have taken in the budget will be visible and whatever happens in Iran, the prices are currently fixed till July.’ His statement directly addresses the fear that exists regarding the rise in global oil prices due to the tension in Hormuz.

Starmer also reacted to US President Donald Trump’s warning of a possible exit from NATO. Calling it an attempt to create pressure and noise, he said that NATO is the most effective military alliance ever and Britain is fully committed to it. He said, ‘No matter how much pressure or noise there is, I will take every decision keeping the interest of the country in mind.’

He also made it clear that Britain will not be directly involved in this conflict. He said, ‘This is not our fight, and we will not get caught in it.’ He also said that it is necessary to build closer relations with Europe in view of defence, security and economic future.

Starmer also announced diplomatic initiatives on the Hormuz crisis. He said that Britain will host an important meeting later this week with countries who want to cooperate in reopening the Strait of Hormuz. He said that Yvette Cooper will chair the meeting, in which discussions will be held on restoring freedom of navigation, ensuring the safety of stranded ships and sailors and resuming the movement of essential goods.

According to Starmer, Britain is already active in this direction. The Foreign Minister and the Chancellor have talked to their counterparts from the G7 countries, while the Defense Minister is in touch with the partners in the Middle East. He said that the UK has brought together 35 countries under a joint initiative for maritime security in the Gulf region.

He stressed that the most effective way to reduce the cost of living in Britain is to reduce tensions in the Middle East and reopen the Strait of Hormuz and that every possible diplomatic route would be taken to achieve this.

US Israel War: After almost five weeks of the ongoing war with Iran in the Middle East, America’s President Donald Trump is now receiving setbacks one after another. In the Iran-America war, allied countries like Britain, Italy, Spain have refused to cooperate and in this sequence, Qatar has now given another big blow to America. Qatar has refused to mediate in the ongoing conflict in West Asia.

What did Qatar’s Foreign Ministry say?

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has confirmed in an official statement that we are not involved in the efforts to mediate in Iran’s ongoing war with America and Israel. Our efforts are focused only on the defense and security of our country.

He said, ‘However, amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia, we remain in constant contact with all parties. These include the countries conducting the mediation as well as many other regional parties. Here we should emphasize that everyone should fully support the efforts being made by Pakistan to establish peace. We hope that these efforts being made by Pakistan will yield positive results and permanent peace and stability will be established in the area.

Many NATO member countries refused to join the war

This statement from Qatar’s Foreign Ministry has come at a time when many countries including Britain, Italy, France, Spain have refused to participate in the ongoing war against Iran. Regarding this, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that this war is not ours. We did not start this and we will not get involved in it. Along with this, Britain has also refused to provide its army to attack Iran and to use its country’s airspace for American planes.

Middle East Tensions: It has been almost five weeks since America and Israel’s war with Iran started, but there is no sign of this conflict and tension in the Middle East ending at the moment. US President Donald Trump has already threatened to take major military action against Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, but meanwhile many of America’s allies have refused to go to war with Iran. Britain, Germany, Spain, Australia and now Italy have also joined these countries.

In such a situation, America’s President Donald Trump is becoming alone in the ongoing war with Iran. However, the President himself seems quite confused about the attack on Iran. They sometimes say that our aim is to attack Iran’s oil and uranium. Internal protests continue in America regarding this war. Before launching such a huge attack on Iran, Trump did not take his country into confidence and attacked without thinking. Which is being said to be their biggest mistake.

Trump’s assessment – the mission to open the strait will prolong the war

The Wall Street Journal, quoting a US administration official, reported that US President Donald Trump has told his allies that they are ready to end the military campaign against Iran, even if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed for a long time. This statement of Trump comes a day after the threat in which Trump had told Iran that if Tehran does not allow the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, then America will destroy its power plants and oil wells.

According to the report, Trump said that he would leave for a later time the complex operation to reopen this very important route that carries about one-fifth of the world’s oil supplies. They estimate that the mission to forcibly open this route will extend the war beyond their planned time of 4 to 6 weeks.

Britain withdrew from Iran war

Britain’s decision not to get involved in the ongoing war with Iran has given a big blow to the US and President Donald Trump. British PM Keir Starmer refused to use his airspace and send British troops in the war, saying that this is not our fight. We will not get involved in this. He said that the UK will continue its efforts to open the Strait of Hormuz, but we will not be dragged into the fight.

Spain also gave a shock to America

Before Britain, Spain has banned America’s planes involved in the war with Iran from using its airspace. Spain has stopped the US from using its Rota and Moron bases for combat or refueling.

Italy did not allow American bombers to land

According to the report of Italy’s daily Corriere Della Sera, an official, keeping his identity secret, said that some American bombers were about to land at a base in eastern Sicily before going to the Middle East, for which Italy has refused permission. The official said Italy refused permission because the US had not sought formal permission and had not discussed it with Italy’s military leadership, as is required under the treaty between the two countries.

US President Donald Trump has vented his anger on NATO countries amid the war with Iran. Trump clearly said that NATO countries have not provided any help in the ongoing conflict against Iran. However, he further said that America does not need any help. This statement of Trump has come at a time when tension in the Middle East has increased.

In his statement, Trump described Iran as a mad country and claimed that it has now become militarily weak. He said that America does not need any help from NATO, but it should never be forgotten that the allied countries did not cooperate at this time.

Trump has expressed anger at NATO before also

US President Donald Trump has once again expressed his anger at NATO countries amid the continuously increasing tension in the Middle East with Iran. Trump earlier vented his anger on NATO countries during his meeting with Irish Prime Minister Michelle Martin at the White House. Trump has accused NATO member countries of making a stupid mistake by refusing to help America secure the Strait of Hormuz during the war with Iran.

He stressed that America does not need help from its allies. I have received information from most NATO allies that they do not want to get involved in this war, because many countries consider this war to be illegal.

However, he said that some countries are ready to help in taking the ships safely through the Strait of Hormuz, but he has not yet publicly disclosed the names of those countries. Making sharp remarks on NATO, he said that we do not need any help, but they should have been there.
