Follow these exercises during Nautap

In Sanatan Dharma, the time of Nautap is considered very special to please the Sun God, due to which the position of the Sun in the horoscope is strengthened and good health is achieved. Therefore, during this time, one should wake up early in the morning, after taking bath, offer Arghya to Sun God and chant mantras dedicated to Sun God to maintain the flow of positive energy.

Apart from this, setting up a pyau, donating things like water, sherbet, sattu, earthen pots, umbrellas, cotton clothes, hand fans and seasonal fruits are considered very auspicious during this time.

During Nautapa, one should avoid performing auspicious ceremonies like marriage, housewarming etc., because doing so destroys domestic peace and harmony.

During this period, one should eat as light and easily digestible food as possible.

To achieve auspicious results, water can be arranged for birds and animals during Nautapa.

If a needy person comes to your house asking for water or food, he should not be returned empty handed.

During Nautapa, it is considered very suitable for donating water and offering tarpan in honor of ancestors. It is very important to follow these precautions.

During Nautapa, cold things like curd, buttermilk, lassi, bel sherbet, coconut water and watermelon should be consumed as much as possible.

During this period, one should avoid consuming hot, spicy, fried and non-vegetarian food.

Unless necessary, avoid leaving the house in the scorching sun, especially between 12.00 noon and 4.00 pm.
