US attacks Iran: Tension between Iran and America is continuously increasing. US Central Command (CENTCOM) has released a video of the latest military attacks on Iran. In the video, US Navy fighter planes and Tomahawk cruise missiles are shown attacking several Iranian military targets. At the same time, the activity of American military planes around Tehran and the news of explosions near Borujard have made the situation more serious.

In the video released by CENTCOM, US Navy’s F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter plane is seen taking off from the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier. Apart from this, scenes of BGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missiles being fired from Arleigh Burke class warships have also emerged. According to the US Army, these attacks targeted a missile launcher (TEL), a drone launch site, previously inactive and decommissioned aircraft, and a telecommunications tower.

Command center and air defense system also became targets

CENTCOM said that a major phase of the attacks was completed by 9 pm American time. During this, command centres, air defense systems, missile and drone bases as well as coastal surveillance facilities were also attacked. However, the US Army has said that the military operation is not over yet and the action will continue further.

US President Donald Trump has said that the US and China agree that Iran should not have nuclear weapons and that it is necessary to keep the Strait of Hormuz open. Trump made this statement after a three-day official visit to China, where he met Chinese President Xi Jinping. The situation in West Asia, Taiwan and other international issues were discussed between the two leaders.

While talking to reporters in Air Force One while returning from China, Trump said that America is maintaining control over the Strait of Hormuz. He claimed that due to America’s naval blockade in the last two and a half weeks, Iran has suffered a loss of about 500 million dollars every day.

Respects President Xi Jinping: Trump

Trump said that he respects President Xi Jinping and Xi clearly said that Iran should not get nuclear weapons. According to Trump, China also wants the Strait of Hormuz to remain open because it is a very important route for the world’s oil trade. He said, ‘President Xi said very strongly that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. He also said that the strait should remain open. At present America is controlling this area and Iran has not been able to do any big business for the last two and a half weeks.

Talks on Taiwan issue also mentioned

Trump also mentioned talks on Taiwan issue. He said that Xi Jinping does not want any kind of conflict or fight for independence in Taiwan because it could lead to a major conflict. Trump said that he listened carefully to Xi, but did not make any comment of his own on this issue. Trump said that there is a good understanding between the two leaders regarding Taiwan and Iran. He told that there was also discussion regarding the sale of arms to Taiwan.

America does not want to get into any major foreign war: Trump

Journalists asked Trump about the 1982 US agreement, which stated that the US would not consult China in the decision to sell arms to Taiwan. On this, Trump said that that agreement is very old and the current situation is different. He said that he discussed this issue openly and he will take further decision himself. Trump said that at this time America does not want to get involved in any major foreign war, especially a conflict that is thousands of miles away. He said that America is currently in a good situation and it is important to maintain peace.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned Donald Trump that Tehran will close the Strait of Hormuz if the US continues the naval blockade. This warning has come shortly after the US President announced that the blockade will be fully implemented.

Ghalibaf said in a post that the movement from Hormuz will take place only on the basis of scheduled route and Iranian permission. He said, ‘The Strait of Hormuz will not remain open if the blockade continues.’

What did Abbas Araghchi say?

This announcement came hours after Iran declared Hormuz open to commercial ships for the remaining period of the ceasefire. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, “Due to the ceasefire in Lebanon, the movement of all commercial vessels through this waterway is declared completely open for the remaining period of the ceasefire.”

Hormuz blockade will remain intact: Trump

In response, Trump made it clear that the naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will remain in place until the agreement with Iran is completed. However, he claimed that this process will be completed very soon as the bottlenecks have already been discussed. Trump warned that if an agreement is not reached, America may start dropping bombs again. He said, ‘I may not take it further, but the blockade of Iranian ports will continue. Unfortunately, we will have to start bombing again.

Iranian speaker gave this answer

On this, the Iranian speaker said bluntly, ‘He (Trump) did not win the war with these lies and he will not be able to reach anywhere in the talks. The strait will be open or closed and the rules governing it will be decided by ground reality, not social media. Ghalibaf alleged that Trump made 7 claims in an hour, all of which were false. However, he did not say what exactly the claims were.
