The injured woman was admitted to Hisua Community Hospital. The police has started investigation in this entire case. No one was arrested until the news was written.

Woman found injured from cremation ghat

In this whole case, SI Rupa Kumari of Hisua police station told that we got information that the locals have attacked Gaya Manjhi and his wife by telling the witch. Gaya Manjhi died in assault. His wife is seriously injured. The crowd shaved his head, wearing a garland of shoes and slippers and rotated them throughout the locality. Tried to burn alive. The dead body and the injured woman were recovered from near the cremation ghat. The police is investigating and taking action.
