Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Neeraj Chopra and his wife Himani Mor at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg this morning. The Prime Minister gave this information by posting on social media and said that they had a good conversation on many issues, in which sports was also included.

Along with these photos, the PM wrote in the caption, “Met Neeraj Chopra and his wife Himani Mor this morning at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. Neeraj married Himani in January

Neeraj Chopra married former tennis player Himani Mor on January 16 this year. This marriage took place in Himachal Pradesh, in which only close relatives attended.

The year 2025 was a mixed bag for Neeraj, this year he was finally able to cross the 90 meter barrier. However, he could not save his World Championship title. Neeraj had failed to win a medal in the World Championship held in Tokyo this year.

India’s star Olympic athlete Neeraj Chopra on Wednesday got the rank of ‘Lieutenant Colonel’ in the Indian Army. Neeraj was given this honor for his great achievements in sports and inspiring the youth. He was given this post in Delhi in the presence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. Neeraj Chopra’s contribution to Indian athletics has been incomparable. When the year 2022 came, he received the Param Vishisht Seva Medal, which is the highest peacetime honor given by the Indian Army. Amidst all these achievements, due to Neeraj Chopra, there was a wave of athletics and javelin throw in India.

Weber threw a spear 86.12 meters away in his second attempt, due to which he finished first.

Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan is the athlete who deprived Chopra of the gold medal by throwing a javelin 92.97 meters away in the Paris Olympics. Actually Arshad Nadeem is not a staunch rival of Neeraj, but Julian Weber is getting this title. Julian Weber has defeated the Indian star twice within just 8 days.

Arshad Nadeem, the Gold Medal winner of the Paris Olympics, recently made a statement on the relationship with Neeraj Chopra and said, “Due to Indo-Pak tension, I do not want to make any statement about Neeraj Chopra. I come from a small village, I can say that I and my family stands with Pak Army.”
