NEET UG Re-Exam 2026 : Relief news has emerged for lakhs of students preparing for NEET UG re-exam 2026. Keeping in mind the convenience of the students appearing in the medical entrance examination which is going to be conducted again after the paper leak controversy, many state governments have decided to provide free bus service. During the examination, students often have to face the problem of transport, long distance and reaching the examination center on time. Keeping this in view, many states have announced to start the facility of pre-travel in government buses for the students appearing for NEET re-exam. NEET UG exam held on 3 May 2026 was canceled after the paper leak case. Now this examination will be conducted again on June 21, 2026, in which about 22 lakh students will participate. In which states students will get free buses for NEET re-exam?

For NEET re-exam, Bihar, Punjab and Haryana governments have announced to start the facility of free travel in government buses for students. Governments say that the main objective of this decision is to ensure that students can easily reach their examination centers without stress and financial burden. The most important thing is that students will not need any separate pass or ticket. Their NEET admit card will act as a bus travel pass.

Bihar government announced free travel

Bihar government has decided to provide free travel facility in state transport buses for the students appearing in NEET re-exam. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary gave this information through social media platform X. According to the government, students appearing for the examination will be able to travel in government buses across the state without paying fare. This will especially benefit those students who reach the examination center from villages and small towns. The government says that no student’s examination should be affected due to financial problems or transportation problems.

Punjab government also gave relief to students

Punjab government has also started a big facility for NEET candidates. The state government has announced that students appearing for NEET re-exam from June 20 to June 22, 2026 will be able to travel free in Punjab Roadways buses. This decision will provide great relief to those students who have to travel long distances to reach their examination centres. The government believes that it is important to reduce the stress of students at the time of examination so that they can take the examination in a better way.

Free bus service will also be available in Haryana Roadways

Haryana government has also announced free bus service for students. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has said that students appearing in NEET re-exam will be able to travel in Haryana Roadways buses on June 20 and 21 without paying fare. According to the government, this step has been taken so that students can reach their examination centers on time without any worries. This facility is considered very helpful especially for the students of rural areas.

Admit card will become bus ticket only.

The governments of the three states have made it clear that students will not need to get any separate pass or ticket. Their NEET UG admit card will only work as a travel pass. Students will have to carry their admit card and an identity card while traveling in the bus. On showing the admit card, they will be allowed free travel.
