This time, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has made strict security arrangements for the country’s biggest medical entrance exam NEET 2026. Hi-tech technology will be used to prevent any kind of irregularities or copying in the examination. Along with this, the rules related to dress code and entry for students have also been made more strict than before. In such a situation, it is very important for the candidates to understand these guidelines.

This time, cameras equipped with advanced AI technology will be installed at the examination centres, which will continuously monitor the activities of the candidates. Any unusual or suspicious behavior will be immediately identified and reported to the control room, so that immediate action can be taken against attempts of copying.

Biometric verification and digital verification

Biometric verification will be done to ensure the identity of the candidates during entry into the exam center. Along with this, through digital frisking, it will be ensured that no prohibited item can be taken inside. This will prevent entry of fake candidates.

Network will remain closed due to 5G jammer

High-frequency jammers will be installed at the centers to prevent any kind of electronic communication during the examination. These jammers will block even 5G networks, due to which copying through Bluetooth or other devices will not be possible.

Strictness in dress code

This time NTA has issued clear instructions regarding dress code. Candidates will have to come wearing only half sleeve clothes. Full sleeve clothes will not be allowed, so that no hidden material can be brought in the clothes. They will not be allowed to come to the examination center wearing shoes and socks. Candidates have been advised to wear light slippers or sandals. This rule has been implemented for security reasons, so that any type of hidden device can be prevented.

It is advised to avoid wearing clothes with heavy designs, big buttons, many pockets or embroidery. Such clothes can affect the testing process, hence it would be better to wear simple and light clothes. Candidates who wear special clothes like hijab or turban for religious reasons will have to reach the examination center before the scheduled time. Separate arrangements will be made for their examination so that the examination process is not affected.

Digital tracking for security of question paper

GPS based tracking and digital lock system will be used for the security of question papers. Question papers will be opened only at the prescribed time and place, so that the possibility of paper leak can be eliminated to a great extent. Also, let us tell you that pens will be made available to the candidates at the examination center itself, hence there is no need to bring pens from outside. Water bottles should be transparent. Apart from this, there will be a ban on carrying any kind of stationery or personal items.
