In the NEET paper leak case, CBI has arrested Manisha Sanjay Havildar, who leaked the Physics questions. Manisha Seth was working in Hiralal Surf Prashala Pune. NTA had appointed him as an expert to conduct the paper. He had access to physics questions. Some questions of Physics were leaked in collaboration with Manisha Mathre, who was arrested earlier. All these questions were telecasted and it was found that all these leaked questions had appeared in NEET paper.

11 arrested so far in NEET paper leak case

So far, 11 accused have been arrested from Delhi, Jaipur, Gurugram, Nashik, Latur and Ahilyangar in the NEET paper leak case. In this case, CBI has conducted search operations at many places across the country and has seized many objectionable documents, laptops, bank statements and mobile phones, which are being analyzed.

Physics questions leaked

On May 16, CBI had arrested Pune-based Botany teacher Mandhare in connection with leaking of NEET-UG question papers. The agency found that the questions shared by Manisha Havaldar with the candidates matched the Physics question paper of NEET (UG)-2026. On May 12, NTA had canceled the NEET-UG held on May 3 for admission to medical colleges amid allegations of question paper leak and the re-examination has been scheduled for June 21.

The investigation by special teams is ongoing and the investigation conducted so far has revealed the real source of the question paper leak. The middlemen who mobilized the students who paid lakhs of rupees to attend special coaching classes sharing the questions appearing in the NEET UG-2026 exam have also been identified and arrested.
