Nepal Salary News: If you start getting salary twice a month, then many of your problems can be solved. India’s neighboring country Nepal has now made a major change in the way of paying salaries to its employees. Now instead of getting full salary once at the end of the month, government employees will be given half salary every 15 days i.e. twice a month. The government has now decided to implement ‘fortnightly payment system’, changing the system of giving ‘month-end salary’ that has been going on for decades.

This step of Nepal government is being considered as a revolutionary step in the interest of administrative structure and employees. Nepal’s Finance Ministry has said that the main objective of this step is to stabilize the financial condition of government employees and increase the flow of cash in the market. It is often seen that by the last week of the month, the pockets of middle class employees become empty, due to which they have to struggle or take loans for their daily needs. With the new system, money will be available to them every second week.

What benefit will the employees and the government get from this?

Economic experts believe that this decision will not only benefit the employees but also the country’s economy. When money comes into people’s hands every 15 days, there will be continuity of purchasing in the market. This will increase the business of retailers and small traders. Usually, there is crowd in the market at the beginning of the month and silence at the end, but now there will be equal demand in the market throughout the month.

There will be ease in expenses like school, electricity and ration – employees

After this announcement, there is an atmosphere of excitement in the government corridors of Nepal. Employees say that budget management will now become easier. Now they will be able to divide expenses like school fees, electricity bill and ration in a better way. Also, this system is on the lines of developed countries (like America and Australia), which reflects the modern approach to management.

This decision can become an example for other countries also

This experiment of Nepal government can become an example for other countries of South Asia also. If this model is successful, it will not only increase the efficiency of the employees but will also prove to be a milestone in improving the economic health of the country. At present, the government is planning to implement it in a phased manner.
