After the anti-Gen-Z protests in Nepal, the country’s prison system has completely collapsed. According to the Prison Management Department, after the violent protests on September 9, more than 13,000 prisoners escaped from different jails across the country, including a large number of foreign nationals.

According to government data, 540 Indian citizens who were serving sentences for various crimes are now absconding. Apart from these, 108 other foreign prisoners are also reported missing. The government has issued a high alert across the country and security agencies have been instructed to capture these prisoners.

More than 5,000 Nepali prisoners also abscond in Nepal

According to the data released by the Nepal government, more than 5,000 Nepalese citizens are among the prisoners who escaped from jails. The incident occurred during the Gen Z movement on September 8 and 9 when thousands of youth staged violent protests against the government in Kathmandu and other cities. During these demonstrations, there were clashes between security forces and protesters, in which 76 people died. When the situation went out of control, violence spread in many jails and prisoners broke administrative control and got the opportunity to escape.

So far 7,700 prisoners have been recaptured or returned

Nepalese officials said that so far 7,735 of the escaped prisoners have either returned voluntarily or have been caught by the security forces. However, thousands of prisoners are still absconding, including an alarming number of Indian citizens. Nepal’s Home Ministry has put all the jails and border posts on alert so that the absconding prisoners cannot cross the border of India, Bhutan or Bangladesh. Given the open border between Nepal and India, security forces fear that many Indian prisoners may try to enter India.

Special operation in search of 540 Indian prisoners

The Nepal government has contacted the Indian Embassy to identify 540 Indian prisoners. According to sources, many Indian prisoners were serving sentences for crimes like drug trafficking, theft or counterfeiting. Nepal’s prison department said that photographs and details of these prisoners are being shared with the concerned security agencies so that search operations can be conducted in the border districts. The Indian Home Ministry is also on alert in its border states Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim and Uttarakhand on the basis of information received from Nepal.

10 prisoners died in action by security forces

During this mass escape in Nepal’s jails, security forces tried to control the situation, in which 10 prisoners died. According to officials, these deaths mainly occurred during clashes and firing when prisoners were trying to escape by breaking the prison walls. At the same time, human rights organizations of Nepal have demanded an investigation from the government into the police action. He says that responsibility for the failure of the jail security system should also be fixed.

The centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Vijayadashami festival are being celebrated in Nagpur with great pomp. Former President of India Ramnath Kovind and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat are present as the chief guests at the ceremony. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari are also attended by the ceremony.

On this occasion, the message sent by the Dalai Lama was also read, in which he greeted the Sangh. Former President Ram Nath Kovind also expressed his views in the program and emphasized social responsibilities and service towards the country. This centenary celebrations of the RSS and the Vijayadashami Utsav Sangh are dedicated to the service, patriotism and social contribution.

Ramnath Kovind said this

On this occasion, Ramnath Kovind said, “Today’s Vijayadashami festival is a symbol of the centenary of RSS. The holy land of Nagpur is associated with the great personalities of modern India like Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar.”

The former President described the RSS as a “sacred, huge vat tree”, which brings the people of India together, makes them feel proud and progress.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s big statement

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that a wave of reverence and concentration spread across India throughout India in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, while terrorists in Pahalgam asked for religion and killed innocent citizens. He also said that the contribution of the army has been seen globally and it is also necessary to face constitutional militant elements within the country.

During this time RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said, “This year is three hundred years of sacrifice of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji … who gave his supreme sacrifice for the liberation of society with torture, injustice and communal discrimination and such a vibration of protecting the society will be his permanent this year. Today is 2 October. Today is 2 October, his birth of the heavenly mahatma Gandhi is unforgettable. How to be a philosopher leader of our time, who gave thoughts about it, his place is pioneer… who gave his life to the country, today is the birth anniversary of the late Lal Bahadur Shastri.

What did Bhagwat say on Trump’s tariff?

Bhagwat said that America must have adopted tariffs for its good, but it will affect all countries. He emphasized that India should not depend on anyone and the dependence should not be changed under compulsion. He also emphasized the need for the use of indigenous products. Bhagwat said that it is necessary to have international relations, but it should not be the cause of compulsion.

This is said on the recent violence in Nepal

On the recent violence in Nepal, he said that it is not right to express dissatisfaction through such violent movement. Such paths do not change positive.

Bhagwat also said that in such an environment, external selfish countries can play their games. Our neighboring states are our own, so their situation is a matter of concern for us.

Constitutional militant elements inside the country: Bhagwat

Bhagwat said that there are constitutional militant elements inside the country, but due to the strict action of the government and awareness of the hollowness and cruelty of the Naxalite ideology among the people, the militant Naxalite movement has been controlled to a great extent. He said that a comprehensive action plan is required to ensure justice, development, goodwill and sympathy in these areas.

Bhagwat said that by becoming self -sufficient and aware of global unity, we have to ensure that dependence should not become our compulsion and we can work according to our will. He clarified that there is no alternative to indigenous and self -reliance.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reacted for the first time after the recent violent demonstrations in Nepal. Referring to the neighboring country, Yogi Adityanath said on Saturday (September 13) that if small things are ignored, they can become big problems, as seen in Nepal. He said that these issues should be actively resolved with sensitivity.

Addressing a program here, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the public representatives also have to face the anger of the people, so they should patiently listen to the complaints of the people patiently. They should be rationally resolved.

CM Yogi advised doctors

CM Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the foundation day celebrations of Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, also emphasized that doctors should show sensitivity while treating patients and their families. The Chief Minister said, “We (as a politician) also face similar situations and it is our duty to understand the problems and find a proper solution.”

‘If not solved, problems can become big’

He said that hospitals have to solve many problems of patients, such as the arrangement of ambulance and the availability of blood, which may look small but if they are not resolved on time, then a big problem can be made.

‘Small things sometimes become a big problem’

Adityanath said, “Small things sometimes become a big problem for us. You must have seen what happened in Nepal. What did people ignore social media? What happened to the result? How did development and progress stop? How did the lives of the people play with the lives of the people? To ensure that such incidents should not happen anywhere else, every person should be vigilant in their respective fields.”

Many Indians lost their lives in Nepal violence

According to the latest data released by the Nepal Police, at least 51 people, including an Indian citizen, died in the ‘Jane Z’ protest led by the students, resulting in the KP Sharma Oli government on Tuesday. Let us know that the youth born between 1997 to 2012 are often known as ‘Jane Z’.

The violence erupted after the Gen-Z movement in Nepal has calmed down. Things are returning to track on different parts of the country including Kathmandu. The exercise to form an interim government is fast. The sequence of meetings continued till late night at the residence of President Ramchandra Paudel, but the picture has not been cleared till now. It is being said that many people including Gen-Z, Balen Shah and Kulaman Ghizing in the name of Sushila Karki have agreed, even Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel has agreed, but then why is the announcement of Sushila Karki’s name being delayed?

From Kathmandu to other parts of Nepal, when violence erupted during the Gen-Z movement and KP Sharma Oli resigned as Prime Minister, the protesters were considering Kathmandu Mayor and rapper Balen Shah as their leader. At that time it seemed that Balen Shah would be the head of the interim government. However, later the agitators also rescued the former deputy minister Rabi Lamichna in corruption jail, then their name also joined the race. After this, the names of Kulman Ghising and Sudan Gurung also came up, but gradually everyone withdrew their names. Balen Shah openly supported Sushila Karki.

Why not announce the name of Sushila Karki?

The Army Chief also assured them during the meeting with the Gen-Z protesters that they will tell the interim government, but in the meantime it has come to light that Nepal’s President Ramchandra Paudel Paudel Sushila is not in favor of making Sushila Karki an interim Prime Minister. He has insisted that any solution to the crisis should be discovered within the structure of the existing constitution. His attitude is supported by major parties including Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), Maoist and Madesh-based groups.

Why the screw on Sushila Karki?

At this time there is a situation of confrontation between the Army Chief and the President in Nepal. While the Army Chief wants the demand of the agitators to be considered, the President is citing the Constitution. Actually, the Constitution of Nepal says that a retired judge should not hold a political or constitutional post. Since Sushila Karki has been the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nepal. For this reason, President Paudel is repeatedly calling for the Constitution.

Who is Sushila Karki?

Sushila Karki has been the first Chief Justice of Nepal. He graduated from Mahendra Morang College and then received a Masters degree in Political Science from Banaras Hindu University. After this, he received a law degree from Tribhuvan University in Nepal. Sushila Karki started practicing in 1979. In 2007, he was made Senior Advocate. In 2009, he was made a Advocate Judge of the Nepal Supreme Court and in 2010, a permanent judge was made. He served as the Chief Justice of Nepal from 11 July 2016 to 6 June 2017.

While being the chief Justice of Sushila Karki, he took strict steps against corruption. He gave many important decisions, including citizenship, scam in police appointments, establishment of fast track court and other cases related to corruption. Sushila Karki was so active that political parties saw a crisis in it. In 2017, the political parties of Nepal moved a motion of impeachment against him in Parliament, against which the people of Nepal became and then the proposal was withdrawn.

What is Sushila’s attitude regarding India?

Sushila Karki is in favor of strengthening the relations between Nepal and India. She believes and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing a good job. Recently, he praised PM Modi and said that there is a good impression for Modi ji in my mind. He also said that the relationship between India and Nepal is very old and deep. He told that relatives and friends are also connected between the two countries. Karki made it clear that there is a slight knock in the middle, but the relationship remains strong.

A big change has been made before the women Blind T20 World Cup 2025 to be held for the first time. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, has now been removed. The reason for this was the political instability and recent violent performance in Nepal.

This historic tournament will be played in India from 11 to 25 November, in which teams from seven countries will participate – Australia, England, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and America. A total of 21 league matches, two semi -finals and final matches will be played in this tournament.

Why was Nepal’s venue removed?

The tournament was to be held in New Delhi and Bangalore under the earlier scheme, but in view of the political tension between India and Pakistan, Kathmandu was made a neutral venue for Pakistan’s matches so that Pakistan could also participate in this tournament.

Now, due to the deteriorating situation, the Indian Visual Cricket Association (CABI) announced that it is not safe to hold the match there due to the violent demonstrations in Nepal. In such a situation, the new second neutral venue for Pakistan’s matches will be decided soon.

Indian team preparations

India is a host in this tournament as well as a strong contender. The Indian women’s blind team won the gold medal at the IBSA World Games held in 2023 last year. At that time, there was also a debut of blind cricket. In the final of the tournament, India had shook Australia.

After the discovery of 56 players from across the country in the Indian team, a 16 -member squad has been selected. Deepika TC of Karnataka has been made captain and Ganga S Kadam of Maharashtra has been made the vice -captain.

Indian women’s squad

B1 category – Simu Das (Delhi), P. Karuna Kumari (Andhra Pradesh), Anu Kumari (Bihar), Jamuna Rani Tudu (Odisha), Kavya V (Karnataka).

B2 category – Anekha Devi (Delhi), Basanti Hansda (Odisha), Simranjit Kaur (Rajasthan), Sunita Sarathe (Madhya Pradesh), Parvati Marandi (Odisha).

B3 category – Deepika TC (Karnataka – Captain), Phoola Soren (Odisha), Ganga S Kadam (Maharashtra), Kavya NR (Karnataka), Sushma Patel (Madhya Pradesh), Durga Yevale (Madhya Pradesh).

Before the official Instagram account of the Royal Family of Nepal, King Gyanendra B. B. Shah has expressed his condolences on the recent violence. He said that whatever happened is very sad and painful. He expressed deep condolences to the families of those who died in this incident.

Gyanendra Shah said in clear terms that strict action should be taken against those who are responsible for this condemnable incident and no convict should be spared against them. In his message, he also recalled the courage and contribution of Jean ji (the person martyred during the performance). He said that the courage with which Jean ji raised his voice against injustice and corruption is commendable and the country should always respect for his efforts.

Former king gave this message to the youth

The former king inspired the youth and said, “O Veer, do not talk about retreat. If you want to get mother (Janani), then Nepal will have to be found.” This message of him is being considered a big statement in view of the current situation in Nepal and the increasing dissatisfaction among the public. The root of violence in Nepal is corruption and deteriorating economy.

Why did people get angry in Nepal?

The situation in Nepal became more tense when the government banned 26 social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and YouTube. Angry with this decision, the youth started the movement in the name of Gen-Z revolution from 8 September. Gradually, this protest became so fast that the situation went out of the government’s control. In the end, Prime Minister KP Oli Sharma resigned and had to leave the country and flee.

Consent in the name of Sushila Karki

In Nepal’s politics, the stir has intensified about the new government. The name of Sushila Karki has been agreed and its information has been given to the speaker of Parliament. Earlier, President Ramchandra Paudel had met party leaders to create political consent. He spoke to the Maoist Center President Pushpakamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ after consulting legal experts. Apart from this, he also spoke on the phone to Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, General Secretary Gagan Thapa and Vishwaprakash Sharma.

The Gen-Z movement started with the ban on social media platforms in Nepal will be so strong, this KP Sharma Oli would never have thought. The Gen-Z movement became so fierce that 23 people died in it. Many ministers and agitators attacked the former Prime Minister’s house. The buildings associated with the Supreme Court and the cabinet were seen burning in smoke.

After this movement, the first Home Minister resigned and the situation did not improve, then the resignations of the ministers came one by one and finally Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resigned.

Nepal is going through a period of big political and social upheaval these days. Millions of youth and students are on the streets under the Gen Z movement in many cities including the capital Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has resigned from his post. Balen Shah has emerged at the center of this movement, who is seen as a very popular leader of the Mayor and youth of Kathmandu.

Time magazine and New York Times also covered Balen. Their social media posts often cause debate and trending at the national level. His lifestyle, style and thoughts have become a role model for the younger generation. This is the reason why Balen Shah’s support in the Gen Z movement is giving it rapid pace and identity.

Career started as a civil engineer

Balen Shah’s visit was also interesting. He started a career as a civil engineer, then became a rapper and eventually stepped into politics. By becoming the mayor of Kathmandu, he gained popularity among the youth and became a hero among traditional parties.

Objection raised to some dialogues of ‘Adipurush’ in 2023

In 2023, he objected to some dialogues of the film ‘Adipurush’ showed that he is not only administrative, but also a leader to raise voice on social issues.

How did Gen Z movement begin?

The GEN Z movement started against Ash and government’s social media restrictions in Nepal. The youth started a peaceful protest, but during the government’s strong response, 19 people were killed and hundreds were injured. 18 protesters died in Kathmandu alone. Balen Shah gave it his leadership by gaining confidence and support of the youth in this entire movement.
