Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been admitted to hospital amid talks with Iran. According to the Israeli PMO, he was admitted for dental reasons. According to the Times of Israel report, the Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement saying that Netanyahu has been taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center, where he is undergoing dental treatment. However, complete information about the type of treatment has not been made public yet. The Prime Minister’s Office said that Netanyahu’s condition is currently fine and doctors are monitoring him.

The health of 76-year-old Benjamin Netanyahu has been in the news for some time. Last month, he had told through a long social media post that a malignant tumor was found in his prostate. He had said that its radiation treatment was done successfully. Netanyahu had also claimed that he did not make this information public earlier because there was tension and war-like situation with Iran at that time. According to him, enemy countries could misuse this information and take advantage of it. After this he also released his health report. A separate document related to cancer diagnosis and treatment was also made public.

Netanyahu has undergone treatment several times

In the last few years, Netanyahu has undergone treatment several times for various health issues. He had a pacemaker installed in July 2023. After this, he had hernia surgery in March 2024. In December 2024, he also had surgery to remove his prostate gland. He was hospitalized in July 2023, when initial reports said he was kept under observation at Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan due to dehydration. However, the hospital later clarified that a heart monitor was implanted under the skin in his body.
