Today, gathering of huge crowds of people has become common in India, the world’s most populous country. But since the beginning of this year till now, many serious accidents have happened in India due to this huge crowd. Be it the crowd of devotees in the temples, the victory ceremony, the crowd of passengers at the railway stations or the crowd of fans of the leaders at political rallies. So far this year, there have been eight stampede accidents in India, in which a total of 129 people have died.

In a country like India, during religious events, huge crowds of devotees often gather at temples and pilgrimage sites. This often leads to overcrowding in most cases and creates difficulties in security measures.

One such incident of stampede took place on Saturday (November 1, 2025) at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple located in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. Where a huge crowd of devotees gathered on the occasion of Kartik Ekadashi and due to lack of adequate arrangements, nine people died and many were injured. A child was also included among those who died. Eyewitnesses of the accident blamed the poor crowd management system of the temple administration for this accident.

Where have stampede incidents taken place in India?

Andhra Pradesh temple stampede (1 November): At least nine people died after a huge crowd gathered at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Ekadashi. These included eight women and one child.

Karur stampede (27 September): A total of 41 people were killed and more than 50 injured when a stampede broke out during a public meeting of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and actor-politician Vijay in Karur, Tamil Nadu on September 27, 2025.

Haridwar Stampede (27 July): On July 27, 2025, in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, a stampede broke out due to a huge crowd of devotees gathering on the staircase-like path leading to Maa Mansa Devi temple. A total of eight people, including a child, died in this accident and 30 others were injured. Later, after the death of a 55-year-old woman in AIIMS Hospital, Rishikesh, the number of deaths increased to 9.

rcb of IPL Stampede in Bengaluru after victory (June 4): A total of 11 people died and more than 50 were injured in a stampede amid a huge crowd during the celebration of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)’s first win in the IPL in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru.

Goa temple stampede (3 May): Six people were killed in a stampede at the Lairai Devi Jatra temple in Shirgaon, North Goa. Apart from this, 70 other people were injured. Temple committee chairman Dinanath Gavankar said that about 50 to 70 thousand devotees were present in the temple at the time of the stampede.

New Delhi Railway Station Stampede (15 February): At the same time, 18 people including four children died in the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. This accident happened when a large number of passengers were trying to board trains to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela organized in Prayagraj.

Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif on Saturday (November 1, 2025) once again claimed to have a war on two fronts. This statement of Khawaja Asif has come at a time when Pakistan has recently agreed to a ceasefire after the conflict with Afghanistan last month.

Amid deteriorating relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan, Khawaja Asif has accused India. He said that India wants Pakistan to remain busy and entangled on both the eastern and western borders. He referred to the recent clashes with Afghanistan on the country’s western border and the conflict with India on the eastern border during Operation Sindoor in May.

Afghanistan works as a proxy for India- Asif

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has earlier also been accusing Afghanistan of acting as a proxy for India. They have even warned that Pakistan may get trapped in a situation of war on two fronts.

While speaking about India, Khawaja Asif said that Delhi has been waging a proxy war against Pakistan since the reign of Ashraf Ghani and now its evidence is being widely accepted. Talking to Geo News, he said that if needed, we will present evidence. India wants Pakistan to remain entangled on both the eastern and western borders.

Ceasefire agreement signed between Afghanistan and Pakistan in Istanbul

Regarding the recent ceasefire with Afghanistan, Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif expressed hope that the mediation of Qatar and Turkey will yield positive results. It is noteworthy that after the violent clashes on the Afghan-Pakistan border last month, on Thursday (October 30, 2025), both the countries held peace talks in Istanbul under the mediation of Qatar and Turkey and agreed to maintain the ceasefire. The conflict between these two countries started when Taliban Foreign Minister Aamir Khan Muttaki was on his visit to India.

India has taken a historic decision for Republic Day 2026. This time the top leaders...

India has taken a historic decision for Republic Day 2026. This time the top leaders of the European Union (EU), European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa will be invited as chief guests. This will be the first time that two top leaders of an international organization will together attend this prestigious national function of India. Both the leaders will reach New Delhi in January 2026, which is considered a symbol of giving a new direction and strengthening to the deepening strategic, economic and diplomatic relations between India and the European Union.

According to the Indian Express report, sources have said that the process of inviting European Union (EU) leaders as the chief guests of Republic Day 2026 is in the final stages. New Delhi and Brussels will soon announce this formal invitation and acceptance. Inviting a foreign leader as the chief guest on Republic Day is considered an important and symbolic step in India’s foreign policy. This selection is not just a formality, but it reflects India’s strategic, economic and geopolitical priorities.

Who was the chief guest in 2025?

India celebrates Republic Day every year on 26 January, which commemorates the implementation of the Constitution in 1950. This event is a symbol of India’s democratic heritage and international friendship. Till now, heads of state or government of many countries have been the chief guests of this function. In 2025, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was the chief guest, while hosting two top EU leaders Ursula von der Leyen and Antonio Costa in 2026 will add a new chapter to India’s diplomatic history.

New strength in India-European Union relations

There has been significant progress in relations between India and the 27-member European Union in the last few months. After the visit of top representatives of the European Commission to India in February, dialogue and cooperation between the two sides has gained momentum. On October 20, the European Union approved a new strategic agenda, which aims to take India-EU relations to a new level. This agenda includes finalizing a Free Trade Agreement (FTA), promoting cooperation in technical, defence, security and public relations sectors.

Amidst the increasing attacks from the border of Afghanistan and the security crisis, Pakistan’s tone...

Amidst the increasing attacks from the border of Afghanistan and the security crisis, Pakistan’s tone has become more poisonous. On Wednesday (15 October 2025), Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that now it has become difficult to trust the Taliban government of Afghanistan. He claims that the recent decisions of the Taliban government are against the interests of Pakistan and India’s influence is clearly visible in them.

While talking to a Pakistani TV channel, Khawaja Asif said that terrorist attacks from Afghanistan are continuously increasing. According to him, in the last few months, terrorists have carried out several attacks on the border posts of Pakistan, but the Taliban government has not taken any concrete action against them. Pakistan says that it tried several times to talk to Afghanistan through diplomatic channels, but no satisfactory response was received from there.

working at the behest of India

Asif alleged that Taliban is now working at the behest of India. He claimed that Taliban is fighting India’s proxy war against Pakistan. Tension remains between Pakistan and Afghanistan over the presence of cross-border terrorism Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and refugee issues. After Taliban came to power, Pakistan thought that Afghanistan would understand its security concerns, but the opposite happened. TTP has again increased its activity in the tribal areas of Pakistan, due to which Islamabad’s concern has increased further. However, in the current conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan, dozens of people have died from both sides.

What is proxy war?

Proxy war is a war which is not fought directly by any country, but is fought by some other group or country. Simply put, the real fight is someone else’s, but a third party gets the benefit. Pakistan alleges that terrorist activities are increasing on Afghan soil, which is causing losses to them. Let us tell you that proxy war has been used many times in international politics, like during the Cold War, America and the Soviet Union fought wars in other countries through their respective supporters.

Before the announcement of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize, US President Donald Trump has once again declared himself a candidate for it. In a conversation with Finnish President Alexander Stubb at the White House, Trump claimed that no one in history has achieved what he has achieved. Not one, not two, but 8 wars ended in just nine months. Amidst this big claim of Trump, members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee in Oslo are reportedly preparing themselves for what would happen if Trump is ignored once again.
According to The Guardian report, officials say that they have already made their decision and the award winner will be announced on October 10, 2025. This announcement will come after the US President announces Israel-Hamas ceasefire.

‘No one in history has stopped 8 wars in 9 months’
Speaking at the White House, Trump said, “I know that no one in history has stopped 8 wars in 9 months and I’ve stopped 8 wars, so that’s never happened before. They have to do what they do, whatever they do, it’s OK. I didn’t do it because I did it because I saved a lot of lives.” Expressing grief over the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, he said that 7,000 soldiers are killed every week. Trump promised that he would find a solution to this problem also.

Which are those 8 countries about which Trump is making claims?
According to Trump, the world is indebted to him because he has single-handedly stopped 8 wars. This list of the US President includes Israel-Iran, India and Pakistan, Congo and Rwanda, Cambodia-Thailand, Armenia and Azerbaijan, besides the dispute between Egypt and Ethiopia regarding the dam on the Nile River and the dispute or ceasefire efforts related to Serbia-Kosovo. They claim that the eighth conflict is the Israel-Hamas ceasefire in Gaza, which they have presented as a lasting peace.

India, one of the countries included in Trump’s peace list, has repeatedly rejected his claim of mediating between New Delhi and Islamabad. India has clarified that all issues with Pakistan are purely bilateral and there is never any need for any third party mediation.

The US Senate has appointed Sergio Gore as the next US Ambassador to India. Gore, one of Donald Trump’s closest aides, has now become the new face of Washington’s diplomacy in New Delhi. Sergio Gore, 38, was among the 107 nominees who were approved by the US Senate in a mass vote, with 51 senators voting in favor and 47 against.

Donald Trump’s statement regarding Gore
Donald Trump recently described Sergio Gore as his great friend and said that it is important for the world’s most populous region that I have someone whom I can completely trust to carry out my agenda and help us make America great again. Trump said Sergio would make an incredible ambassador.

Who is Sergio Gore?
Sergio Gore has been a longtime Republican strategist, fundraiser and close political ally of Donald Trump. In August, Donald Trump nominated him to be the US Ambassador to India and Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs. Prior to his nomination, Sergio Gore served as Director of Presidential Personnel in the Donald Trump administration and played a key role in the US presidential campaign and transition teams.

Before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Sergio Gore described India as a strategic partner. Gore pledged to deepen defense, trade and technology ties with New Delhi and said this relationship will define the 21st century.

How does Sergio Gore see India?
Sergio Gore told lawmakers that improving US-India trade relations will not only increase America’s competitiveness, but will also reduce China’s economic influence on other countries. He also highlighted India’s growing role in maintaining stability in South Asia and said that a stable South Asia is in the interest of the US and all countries. India’s role in ensuring regional stability and security cannot be underestimated.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi Pradesh President Saurabh Bhardwaj has praised Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. He shared his experience on platform number one of New Delhi railway station through a video on social media platform x. Saurabh said that along with criticism, it is also necessary to appreciate good work.

Saurabh Bhardwaj told in the video that he had reached platform number one of New Delhi railway station. There he visited the waiting room of sleeper class and used the toilet there. He was surprised to see the cleanliness of the toilet, because it was much better than his expectations.

He said, “A person was posted there for cleanliness, who was continuously working. Seeing this, I felt that the railway was improving.”

‘Appreciation with criticism is also necessary’

Saurabh said in his X post, “I am at New Delhi railway station today and many times I have criticized the railway department and especially its minister Ashwini Vaishnav that the train accident has been very much and that is also true. But today I have come to platform number one, New Delhi railway station and I went to the waiting room of the sleeper class.”

He further said, “I used the toilet here and it was better than my expectation. There was a man for cleanliness and was quite clean. So I believe that if something is good, we should also do an unknown about him. So I felt that the railway has implemented.”

By the way, the railway department has set a record by railway accidents. But today, if you showed something well, I thought that the department should be praised on this matter.

Saurabh Bhardwaj’s statement reflects a positive step towards the reform of the railway. There are usually complaints about the cleanliness of railway stations, but this experience of Saurabh showed that the Railway Ministry is working in this direction. It is also clear from his praise that he believes in appreciating good work and appreciating good work.

Questions have been raised on train accidents

Please tell that disputes have often arisen about Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Especially after train accidents, the opposition has been making sharp attacks on them.
A 13 -year -old boy from Afghanistan made a shocking feat on Sunday (September 21, 2022). The Afghan boy hid in India from Kabul to New Delhi in the landing gear of Uri Kam Air. When the security personnel came to know about this on Sunday (September 21) at New Delhi Airport, there was a stir everywhere.

This incident of Afghan boy reminds about the incident that happened to two brothers of Punjab three decades ago, which completely changed his life.

Younger brother died from a height of 2,000 feet

According to a 2003 report by the Times of India, in 1996, 23 -year -old Pradeep Saini, a two -year -old from Punjab, and his younger brother 19 -year -old Vijay Saini, tried to reach London from Delhi in the landing gear of a British Airways aircraft.

Pradeep Saini escaped during an illegal to reach London illegally during a 10 -hour flight, but his 19 -year -old brother Vijay Saini died due to hypothermia. When the British Airways aircraft reached West London, Vijay fell below a height of 2,000 feet.

Tempratures get 60 degrees at 40,000 feet

According to the report, the 10 -hour journey broke all the immunity of the human body as the temperature had dropped to -60 degrees Celsius during this period and the oxygen level fell rapidly at a height of 40 thousand feet.

Now Pradeep is working at British airport

Recalling that incident, Pradeep Saini had said that after losing his brother, he had gone into depression for six years. After this he settled in Britain and now he is working at Heathro Airport in London.
