Volkswagen is preparing to further strengthen its SUV range in India. The company is soon going to launch its new full-size SUV Volkswagen Tayron R Line in the Indian market. Pre-booking of this SUV has been officially started before the launch. Customers can book it online or by visiting the nearest Volkswagen dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 51,000. With the start of pre-booking, there is a lot of enthusiasm among customers about this SUV.

May be launched in February

• Volkswagen has not yet revealed the exact date of launch, but according to reports, Tayron R Line can be launched in India in February itself. From the beginning of pre-booking, it is clear that the company is going to launch it in showrooms soon. After launch, this SUV will directly enter the full-size SUV segment.

Features full of luxury and technology

• Volkswagen Tayron R Line will be offered with premium and luxury features. It will have a large 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Front seats will be provided with leather seats with Ergoactive Plus technology, massage function and active ventilation. The SUV will have a large boot space of 850 liters, panoramic sunroof, full LED lighting and advanced safety features. This SUV is very strong in terms of safety and has received a 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP crash test.

Powerful engine and great performance

• Volkswagen Tayron R Line will be provided with a 2.0 liter petrol engine, which generates power of 204 PS and torque of 320 Nm. With this, 7-speed DSG automatic transmission will be available. The company claims that this SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. Its top speed will be up to 224 km/hour.

There will be direct competition with these SUVs

• After its launch in the Indian market, Volkswagen Tayron R Line will compete directly with popular full-size SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and MG Majestor. On the basis of its premium features and strong performance, it can give a tough competition to Fortuner.
