A sensational murder case has come to light in the capital Lucknow, there has been a stir after the body of a businessman was found in two pieces inside a blue drum in the Ashiana police station area. Businessman Manvendra Pratap Singh was missing since February 20. Since then the police is searching for him. The police have detained Akshay Pratap Singh, the son of the deceased in this murder case.

Actually, missing information of Manvendra Pratap Singh (49 years) was registered on 20th in Ashiana police station area of ​​Lucknow, after which the police was engaged in investigation in this case. He had disappeared from his home. During the investigation, when the police interrogated his son Akshay, he became suspicious. When the police showed strictness, the son revealed the whole truth and confessed to the murder.

The father himself murdered and hid the body in a blue drum.

Giving information about this, DCP Central Vikrant Veer said that father Manvendra Singh used to tell his son Akshay Pratap to prepare for competitive examinations. On the morning of 20th February, around 4:30 am, he had an argument with his son over the same issue, due to which Akshay got angry and he shot and killed him with his rifle.

After murdering the father, the accused kept the body in an empty room on the ground floor to hide it. Where he cut his father’s body into several pieces and hid it in a blue drum. After this the accused started disposing of the body pieces one by one. He threw the pieces of hands and legs near Sadrauna.

Police arrested the accused son

At the behest of the accused, the police have recovered two pieces of the dead body from the blue drum. The rifle and sharp weapon used for the murder have also been recovered. The torso has been recovered from the drum but the head is not. Police have taken the accused son into custody. He is being interrogated.

The mother of the accused has already died. When there was a dispute between father and son, his daughter was also present in the house. In front of whose eyes Akshay had shot his father. But, after this he silenced his sister by threatening her. Police have started taking further legal action in this matter.

Following the student protests, a large number of police forces have been deployed in the university. The administration has appealed to the students to maintain peace.
