Last night, there was a fierce fight between students and Proctorial Board personnel in Banaras Hindu University, during which angry students pelted stones and created ruckus. Many people from both sides have been injured in this clash. The students accused the proctorial personnel of assault. After the incident, a large number of police forces are deployed in the university campus.
It is being told that a student of Kashi Hindu University was hit by a car, after which the angry student reached the proctor’s office to complain about it, where he had an argument with the staff, after which the dispute escalated. After which the students became more enraged and started vandalizing and pelting stones.

Fight between students and security personnel

Seeing the increasing ruckus, other students of Birla Hostel also reached the spot with sticks and rods in their hands and started fighting with the security personnel. After this the students created a ruckus there and started vandalizing it. They also tore the flower pots and posters kept in the premises. They also damaged several vehicles parked in the premises.

Large number of police forces deployed in BHU

As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot and tried to control the situation somehow. Angered by this incident, students sat on strike with their demands. After hard work both sides could be pacified.

After the incident, a large number of police forces have been deployed in BHU. At present the situation remains under control. This uproar happened at a time when Tamil Sangam program was to be held in BHU on Wednesday. Students also tore posters and banners of Kashi-Tamil Sangam. Not only this, the decorations made for the program have also been damaged.

Samajwadi Party MP from Chandauli seat of Uttar Pradesh, Virendra Singh has made a big claim regarding the UP assembly elections. Under the leadership of National President Akhilesh Yadav, we will oust the Bharatiya Janata Party from power with full strength. On the huge crowd gathering in trains during Chhath festival, Virendra Singh said that when bureaucrats are the ministers, then how will they know the ground reality. People would not know how much unemployment there is in Bihar. Taking a jibe at the claims of running special trains, he said that when thousands of special trains are being run then why are the passengers facing difficulty in reaching Bihar and Uttar Pradesh?
