LIC Mutual Fund has launched its new fund – LIC MF Technology Fund, which will invest in semiconductor-linked companies, data center operators, digital commerce platforms, internet businesses and emerging tech enterprises apart from traditional IT companies. This open-ended thematic equity scheme will make minimum 80% allocation in technology and tech-related companies and will follow the benchmark BSE TECK Total Return Index (TRI). Fund managers Karan Doshi and Jaiprakash Toshniwal will manage this fund. NFO period 20 Feb – 6 Mar, minimum application ₹1,000. SIP options: daily ₹100, monthly ₹200, quarterly ₹1,000, will be activated from 19 March. High-risk fund, exit load 1% beyond 90 days. Suitable for long-term investors. It is important to pay attention to entry and exit timing.
