Tahawwur Rana News: The mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Tehwwur Rana is currently in the custody of the country’s largest investigating agency NIA. The NIA is constantly questioning him and is engaged in gathering many other information including its masters sitting in Pakistan. Tahwwur Rana was sent on remand of 18 days by the Special NIA Court of Patiala House. The Special Court of NIA, while ordering, said that this conspiracy is not limited to India only, but its wires are connected to international level.

‘Many cities including Delhi targeted’

The court said, “It is necessary to introduce Tahwwur Rana to the evidence that is associated with his rake. It is necessary to face with witnesses and other evidence. The national capital Delhi including many cities of India was targeted. Witnesses, forensic and documentary evidence is necessary.”

Necessary interrogation of Tehwavur- Court

The court said, “There is a need to interrogate Tahwwur deeply. It is a very deep conspiracy, so to get to the bottom of this case, there is a frequent interrogation in custody.” The court has admitted that the matter is related to India’s security and conflict, so the investigating agency should get a full and fair opportunity so that it can present all the facts before the court. “

Investigation agencies started questioning him from Friday (11 April 2025) after extraditing Tahwwur Rana from America and brought to India. He is not supporting NI in investigation. Tehwavur Rana did not remember again and again as he kept answering. Rana is an important link for India’s investigative agencies, as it is believed to have been involved in the conspiracy of Mumbai attacks with Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and ISI.

Tahawwur rana extradition: Tahwwur Hussain Rana, the mastermind of the Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks, has finally been brought to India. He was brought through extradition from the US and now the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is questioning him strongly. According to a TOI report, when Rana came to India, this woman was also present with her. However, his identity is not yet clear. The NIA suspects that this woman may also be a part of a conspiracy or has important information about Rana’s contacts. According to media reports, this woman lived with Rana like his wife in India.

The court said this about Rana

On the evening of Friday (April 11), the NIA court sent the accused of the Mumbai terror attack to the custody of 18 days by the NIA court. Additional Sessions Judge Chander Jeet Singh gave this decision. He said that continuous questioning of Rana is necessary, because the matter of deep conspiracy in this case is coming out.

He told that from the evidence given, it seems that this conspiracy is spreading outside the boundaries of India and there were plans to target many cities of the country (such as Delhi). He further said, “This matter related to the security of the country is very serious. So it is necessary to completely inquire with Rana to reach the truth.”

NIA team is detecting Rana’s close ones

NIA is also interrogating Rana about those people from whom he was connected and finding whether there was any other terrorist attack plan in India. According to a report by the news agency PTI, government sources said that Rana is not helping the NIA in the inquiry and wasting time by giving a round. He is answering like ‘Don’t know’, ‘not remember’.
