National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued recruitment notification for various specialist posts. A total of 30 posts will be filled through this recruitment. Candidates will be selected on the basis of shortlisting and interview.

A total of 30 vacancies are included in the recruitment released by NIA. These include 18 posts of Cyber ​​Forensic Examiner, 6 posts of Crime Scene Assistant, 3 posts of Technical Forensic Psychologist, 2 posts of Explosive Expert and 1 post of Finger Print Expert. Appointment to these posts will be done for technical and investigation related work.

Ability
For these posts, the candidate must have a degree or diploma in the relevant subject. Candidates having educational qualification in Cyber ​​Forensics, Forensic Science, Psychology, Computer Science or other related fields can apply. Also, preference will be given to candidates having work experience in the relevant field.

The maximum age limit for recruitment has been fixed at 56 years. Age will be calculated on the last date of application. Reserved category candidates may be given relaxation as per government rules.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of shortlisting, document verification and interview instead of written examination. Apart from this, the experience and qualification of the candidate will also be evaluated. The final selection will be based on performance and eligibility.

How much salary will you get?
Selected candidates will be given attractive salary as per the post. Level-10 posts like Psychologist will get salary ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. Whereas for level-7 posts like Crime Scene Assistant, the salary has been fixed from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400. Salary of other posts will be given as per the respective pay level.

For the post of Inspector, the candidate must be working on a similar post in the State Police or Union Territory Police. Apart from this, there should be at least 5 years of experience at Level 06. The candidate should have a graduation degree with at least 2 years of experience in criminal investigation, intelligence, IT or anti-terrorism work. For the post of Sub Inspector, the candidate must have at least 6 years of service at Level 05 in the Central or State Police Force. Also, the candidate must have graduation and 2 years of experience in the investigation or intelligence field. For the post of Assistant Sub Inspector, the candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the post of Head Constable in Level 04. Also, one should have graduation degree and experience related to investigation. For the post of Head Constable, it is necessary for the candidate to be working in the Central or State Police and it is mandatory for the candidate to have minimum 12th pass.

How much salary will you get?

Candidates selected on the post of Inspector will be given a salary of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400. For the post of Sub Inspector, the salary has been fixed from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. Candidates selected on the post of Assistant Sub Inspector will get a salary of Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300. For the post of Head Constable, the salary will be from Rs 25,500. It has been fixed up to Rs 81,700. Apart from this, other allowances and facilities will also be given as per government rules.

What will the selection process be like?

Candidates will be selected in this recruitment through deputation process. In this, the service record, experience, qualification and departmental recommendation of the candidate will be taken into consideration. The final selection process will be completed after shortlisting the eligible candidates.
