Bollywood actor Nikitin Dheer has paid tribute to Dharmendra. Remembering Dharmendra, he has shared an emotional post which is going viral. He has told that when Dharmendra came to know about the demise of his father Pankaj Dheer, he had called from the ICU. Nikitin told that Dharmendra assured his family that he would soon recover and return home.

He wrote- My father and I often used to talk about who is the most successful hero till date in our film industry, he used to say Dharam Uncle without blinking. He always used to say, the most manly, most handsome, most humble and a man with a heart of gold… absolutely original… Dharam Uncle.

Dharmendra had called from ICU

Nikitin further wrote- ‘When my father passed away, Dharam Uncle ICU Called my mother and expressed his love and condolences and told her that he would be back home soon and not to worry. Their loss is very personal. We grew up in his arms. Got only love and blessings from him. Always saw him with a smile that lit up the room. Always raised hand to bless us. Thanks for your invaluable contribution to cinema. Thank you for filling our childhood with happiness. Thank you for showing us what a man can and should be.

No one can fill the space left by you. There will never be another Dharmendra. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family, always immense love and respect. Om Shanti.

On October 15, actor Pankaj Dheer passed away at the age of 68, who was especially remembered by the audience for playing the character of Karna in Mahabharata. Now 10 days after his death, his son Nikitin Dheer has made the first post on social media.

In this post, he wrote a long and emotional note, in which he mentioned the moments spent with his father and the lessons learned from him. Nikitin called his father not only a father but also his best friend.

Nikitin Dheer remembered his father
Nikitin Dheer has posted a video on his Instagram, in which he is seen immersing the ashes of his late father Pankaj Dheer. In this video he has also shared some old memorable pictures of his father. In his post, Nikitin wrote an emotional note that he is extremely grateful for the love he received from fans and celebs while paying tribute to his father.

Trying to control his emotions, he wrote, “After birth, only death is certain.” He further said, “On October 15, 2025, I lost my father, my mentor, and my best friend. He was ill for some time, and it shook our family deeply.”

I’m prouder than ever to be his son
In his note, Nikitin further wrote, “Today I am prouder than ever to be his son. He was the most amazing father. He taught me the importance of patience, character, loyalty and perseverance, and also how to chase your dreams even if the world misunderstands you. I will always remember the life lessons he gave me and they will always be a star to me.”

Nikitin Dheer and his family immersed the ashes of his late father under the guidance of Swami Chidanand Shastri at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh and prayed for the peace of his soul. At the end of his note, Nikitin also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Swami Chidananda.
