Meenakshi said that I am left for dowry. I am not in my in -laws’ house in 9 years of marriage. My father gave him a car. Tortured me only after a week of marriage. Nikki’s family members said that my husband had an accident from the car, after that it was said that this car should be replaced.

Meenakshi claimed that my family had given 20-30 tola gold to the people of Nikki and Kanchan. This gold was for both my sister -in -law, mother -in -law, husband, father -in -law, maternal uncle. My father gave almost everything.

Meenakshi said that Nikki’s father -in -law Satveer also used to come to our panchayats. He also spoke 35 lakh rupees. But his stance was towards Nikki’s family.

Meenakshi said that who would get justice to the other’s daughter. Just as he is crying for his son today, my father also cried. Even while dying, he was worried about me. He died in 2020.

Nikki’s father Bhikari Singh said, “Dowry was the main reason behind his daughter’s murder.” He dismissed that there was a dispute due to Nikki’s presence on social media or activities of beauty parlor.

Neighbors in Nikki’s native village Roopbas also supported this and accused Vipin and his relatives of dowry harassment. Nikki’s younger brother Atul demanded a strict punishment for the accused.
