Nissan India has now made its popular compact SUV Magnite even more comfortable. The company has now launched its CNG version with Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT). Earlier this model was available only in manual gearbox, but now this change has brought relief for those customers who want easy driving in city traffic. The new Nissan Magnite CNG AMT will now be available in a total of 11 variants. Their price has been kept from Rs 6.34 lakh to Rs 9.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Now filling CNG is as easy as petrol

• Nissan has made a major improvement in its new model, now the CNG filling valve is given directly inside the fuel lid. This means that just like you fill petrol, now CNG can also be filled easily from the rear. Earlier, users had to open the engine bonnet to fill CNG, which was a bit troublesome. With this change, refueling has now become safe and easy. Apart from this, the company has also given a standard warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometers on this model.

Engine, kit and price

• Nissan also said that the 1.0-litre, 72hp naturally aspirated petrol engine variants of the Magnite can now be fitted with a company-approved CNG kit. This kit can be fitted only at authorized Nissan dealerships and is included in the company’s standard warranty. The price of the new Magnite CNG AMT starts from Rs 6.34 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.70 lakh, while its top manual variant is available for Rs 9.20 lakh. According to the company, after the GST 2.0 amendments, the price of CNG kit has come down by about Rs 3,000, now it gets installed for around Rs 72,000.

Magnite CNG becomes a better option for customers

• Nissan Magnite CNG was already popular due to its low running cost, good mileage and SUV looks. Now with the addition of AMT gearbox, this car has also become a great option for those who want both the convenience of automatic driving and savings on CNG. The company claims that this SUV will now provide smooth driving experience, better mileage and low maintenance cost. Renault Boreal

• Along with the Renault Duster, the company is also preparing to launch a new premium 7-seater SUV, which can be called Renault Boreal. The SUV, which is launched in the second half of 2025, will come with petrol engine and it can also get the option of hybrid variants. Its design will be inspired by the duster, but it will be made special for families with more space and premium features. It will compete with SUVs like Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder.

Nissan Creta-Rival SUV

• Nissan is also preparing for its entry in the Indian Midsize SUV segment. This new SUV will be built on the CMF-B+ platform of the Renault Duster and will be launched in 2026. The company will give modern technology and advanced powertrain in it, although the complete information about its features has not been revealed yet. Along with the launch, it will compete with Bestseling SUVs like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Nissan can also introduce a compact MPV before the SUV launch.

Tata Sierra

• Tata Sierra, one of the most popular SUVs of the 90s, is now making a comeback in a new avatar. The company will launch it by the end of 2025, in which the first electric variants and later petrol-diesel versions will be brought. The Tata Sierra Ev is built on acti.ev+ architecture and will share many components with Harrier EV. It will be given a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, which will generate 168 bhp power and torque of 280 Nm, while the 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine option can also come. The features will include split headlamps, Adas sensors and gloss black grille, which will give it even more futuristic and premium looks. In recent months, many companies including Google announced to evacuate their employees in large numbers. Now the name of Japan carmaker Nissan has also been added to this list. According to media reports, Nissan is going to evacuate about 20 thousand people, which is almost doubled by the earlier announcement. This decision by the company has been taken amid financial crisis due to decrease in global sales and losses.

In the month of November, Nissan had said that his profits in the US and China have declined by 94 during the first half. Because of this, they will take out 9 thousand employees. According to Japan’s Broadcaster NHK, now the company has decided to remove 20 thousand employees, which is 15 percent of the total NISSAM’s total number of employees.

Japanese company will take out 20000 people

The Japan car manufactured company recently estimated that its loss was 700-750 billion yen (4.74 to $ 5.08 billion) during the last financial year.

Apart from this, in another report, it has also been suggested that Hundreds of employees engaged in administrative work in Japan can be given premature retirement by Nisan. If this happens, this will be the first such retirement plan of the company in 18 years. However, no response has been given by Nisan about this report so far.
