The journey of dance started from childhood

In a program, Nita Ambani herself told how she met Mukesh Ambani. She tells that many beautiful memories of her life are related to her childhood. She recalls that when she was young, her mother would take her by train from Santa Cruz to Matunga for dance classes and competitions.

Nita Ambani further tells that her mother used to sit outside for hours and wait for her. As she grew up, her journey became longer and she started going to Churchgate.

A special meeting related to this place

Neeta Ambani says that with time her love for dance increased more and more. During this time, Dhirubhai Ambani saw him for the first time in a cultural program. He liked Neeta’s performance so much that he sent the letter to his son Mukesh Ambani. From here his life took a new turn.

Nita Ambani tells that because of this she was able to meet Mukesh Ambani about 42 years ago. She said that dance introduced her to her life partner, best friend and husband.

He believes that the stage not only teaches us how to perform, but it also helps us understand and identify ourselves. Neeta says that even today dance helps her and she keeps finding new ways to know herself through dance.
