Prashant kishor: Bihar assembly elections are going to be held at the end of 2025 and political activities have intensified. NDA, Grand Alliance and other regional parties have started handling the election front. Meanwhile, an important meeting of the NDA alliance was held in the capital Delhi, in which the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of about 18 to 20 states attended the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

While this meeting was on the one hand to strengthen the functioning of NDA governments across the country, on the other hand, Bihar politics has brought a new turn. Prashant Kishore, the founder of Jansuraj, has given a big statement. He directly attacked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and claimed that Nitish Kumar is not physically and mentally fit.

Prashant Kishore raised this question about the absence of Nitish Kumar in the NITI Aayog meeting. He said that Nitish Kumar’s condition is not good, so he did not go to the meeting of NITI Aayog because there would have been the Chief Minister of the country, the media would have to say something. He further said that Nitish Kumar is kept hiding his officer and some “smooth minister” so that his condition is not revealed to anyone.

What was the story of NDA meeting and NITI Aayog meeting?
In this meeting of NDA held in Delhi, big leaders like Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President JP Nadda were present. Its purpose was to increase harmony between the NDA governments of the states and to discuss the developmental agenda. On the other hand, NITI Aayog meeting was a formal platform, where representatives of state governments get an opportunity to speak on the overall development of the country. In this meeting, not only the opposition on the absence of Nitish Kumar, now leaders associated with NDA are also raising questions.

Prashant Kishore questioned Nitish Kumar on health. He said that if an ordinary citizen has to give physical test to become a soldier, then why not the Chief Minister of Bihar? Giving many examples, he described Nitish Kumar’s recent activities as unusual behavior, such as catching a woman on stage or singing songs in condolences. He considered it a sign of mental imbalance.

Electoral strategy or political etiquette?
The time and attitude of Prashant Kishore’s statement indicate that this statement can be not just a criticism, but a part of the electoral strategy. He has given similar statements against Nitish Kumar before, but this time he kept it more clearly and intense. He claims that the BJP wants to maintain Nitish Kumar due to the support of only 12 MPs, he has no meaning with the public and development.

Hemant soren in niti aayog meet: The 10th meeting of NITI Aayog’s top body Governing Council began on Saturday (May 24) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this, CMs of many other states including Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren were also present. Many Union Ministers were also present in the meeting.

CM Hemant Soren of Jharkhand shared the picture and video of NITI Aayog meeting on social media platform X. He wrote, “Today, attended the meeting of the 10th Governing Council of NITI Aayog held under the chairmanship of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.”

What did PM Modi say in NITI Aayog meeting?

Addressing the Chief Ministers and Union Ministers present in the meeting, PM Modi said, “If the Center and all the states come together and work together like Team India, then no goal is impossible. India is rapidly urbanization. Our goal should be to develop every state, city, municipality and village. If we work on it, we will not have to wait till 2047 to become a developed India.

First major meeting after ‘Operation Sindoor’

The theme of NITI Aayog’s Governing Council meeting is ‘Developed State for India developed in 2047’. The Governing Council, the top unit of NITI Aayog, includes all the Chief Ministers, Lt. Governor of Union Territories and several Union Ministers. Prime Minister Modi is the ex -officio president of NITI Aayog. After the ‘Operation Sindoor’ run against the terrorist structures in Pakistan, Prime Minister Modi’s first major meeting was held with the Chief Ministers of all states and union territories.

For this meeting, states were asked to prepare adventure, long -term and inclusive ‘vision letters’ based on local realities along with national priorities. The full meeting of the council is usually held every year and the meeting was held on 27 July last year.
