Just 5 days before the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar released a video message on Saturday, November 1. In this video, while communicating directly with the public, he has enumerated the achievements of his reign.

In a video message, he said that he has worked for the public with complete honesty and hard work in the last two decades. Attacking the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), he said that under its rule, Bihar was in a state of ‘Jungle Raj’, while the NDA government strengthened law and order and ensured the safety of women.

Now women can go out fearlessly at night – Nitish Kumar

Nitish Kumar said that earlier the law and order situation in the state was very bad, but the NDA government improved it. He said that major changes were made in the fields of education, health, roads, electricity, water, agriculture and employment of youth. “Earlier people were afraid of traveling alone at night, but now women can also go out fearlessly.” He claimed that the NDA government has worked for the development of all sections – Hindu, Muslim, Backward, Extremely Backward, Dalit and Mahadalit, and not for any one family or caste.

Now it is a matter of pride to be called Bihari- Nitish Kumar

The JDU chief said that earlier being called ‘Bihari’ was considered an insult, but today it has become a matter of pride. He said, “We brought Bihar out of the era when the state was identified with backwardness. Today Bihar has created a new image for itself.” Nitish Kumar accused the Congress-RJD alliance of doing nothing for women, while the NDA government made them empowered and self-reliant.

NDA’s strength in center and state

The Chief Minister also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the Central Government has received full support in the development of Bihar. “Together, both the NDA governments are taking the development of the state to new heights. The pace of development is now faster than ever,” he said. Nitish Kumar appealed to the public to vote in large numbers and give NDA another chance. “If we get a chance again, we will include Bihar among the leading states of the country. Please vote in maximum numbers,” he said.

Let us tell you that voting on 243 seats of Bihar Assembly will be held in two phases, the first phase on 6th November and the second phase on 11th November. The results will be declared on 14 November.
