He clarified that all industrial units should follow labor laws in letter and spirit and timely resolution of workers’ problems should be ensured. CM directed that all industrial development authorities should establish direct communication with industry organizations, representatives and unit management within the next 24 hours.

The Chief Minister asked the Labor Department to maintain constant communication with all the industrial units by maintaining better coordination with the local administration. Also warned that strict action should be taken against those elements who are spoiling the environment in the name of workers by identifying them and vigilance should be increased in industrial areas.

Apart from this, he cautioned the officials to be alert of conspiracies to revive the weakened Naxalism in the country and keep a close watch on any provocative activity.
