India is in the list of top countries to be sent the highest money from NRI. According to a survey by the Reserve Bank of India released in March of 2024, Indians living in the US during the year 2023-24 sent $ 32 billion from there to their families and relatives in their country.

Around 45 million Indians in America

According to an estimate of the Ministry of External Affairs, about 45 lakh Indians are currently living in America. Of these, 32 lakh people are of Indian origin.
