BRO recruitment 2026: Border Roads Organization has issued notification for recruitment to 899 posts in General Reserve Engineer Force. Through this recruitment, both technical and non-technical posts will be filled. Interested candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website bro.gov.in. The application process for this recruitment process is likely to start from this month itself. According to the information, online applications can start from April 18, 2026 and applications will be filled till May. Apart from this, it is being told that with the start of the application process, a detailed notification will also be issued.

On which posts will there be recruitment?

Under this recruitment drive, vacancies have been created in different trades. These include 42 posts of Draftsman, 10 posts of Hindi Typist, 300 posts of Store Keeper Technical, 261 posts of Operator Communication, 207 posts of Operator Excavating Machinery and 79 posts of Electrician. In this way, a total of 899 posts will be recruited, which will be divided into different categories. So that all categories can get opportunities.

Provision for reservation in BRO recruitment also

In the notification, separate seats have been fixed for General, SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories. Apart from this, special reservation has also been kept for ex-servicemen and disabled candidates. Separate seats have been earmarked for them on some posts.
