UGC NET December 2025: A big news has come out for lakhs of candidates appearing for the UGC NET December 2025 exam. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Revised Final Answer Key of this examination. Earlier, the final answer key which was released on April 3, did not cover all the subjects and many students had complained about mistakes in it. After these objections and the instructions of Delhi High Court, NTA has now reviewed and released the new revised final answer key. Many changes have been made especially in History and Commerce subjects, due to which students are now expected to get more accurate evaluation. Now the candidates who had participated in this examination will soon be able to see their revised results. Why did Revised Answer Key have to be released?

The answer key released earlier included answers of only a few subjects. Apart from this, many candidates claimed that the answers to some questions were wrong. After a student filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, the court directed NTA to re-examine these questions. After this NTA reviewed all the objections and has now released the new revised answer key.

In which subject the most changes?

Most changes have been made in the history subject. In this, 4 questions have been completely removed and for 3 questions, two correct answers are now considered. These changes have been made after objections from the students. More than 60,000 candidates had appeared in this subject, so it will impact many students. Some amendments have also been made in the commerce paper. In this, 3 questions have been removed and two correct answers have been accepted for 1 question. This examination was held in the first shift on 3 January.

In which subjects was there no change?

NTA has not made any changes in some subjects. Like Economics (Economics), Education (Education) and Hindi (Hindi). The answer keys of these subjects will remain the same as before.
