So far this year, Trent’s shares have fallen by 42 percent. This happened for the first time in the last 12 years because earlier in the year 2013, a decline of only 3.5 percent was recorded in the shares. After this, there was a huge rise in shares by 126 percent and 132 percent in 2023 and 2024, but in 2025 the tables were completely turned.

TCS

Tata Group company TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) is also among those stocks, which have caused huge losses to investors this year. TCS shares have fallen by 25-30 percent so far this year. It is about 33-36 percent below its 52-week high level. At present, the share price has fallen from Rs 4,302.75 to Rs 3,221, which shows a decline of 25.14 percent.

The shares of IT sector giant Wipro have also declined by 14.37 percent so far this year.

Power Grid Corp

Power Grid Corp has also disappointed investors this year. Its shares have fallen by about 19 percent so far this year.

Infosys

Shares of Infosys, the country’s second largest IT services company, have slipped by about 15 percent so far in the year 2025. The share price has fallen from its 52-week high level to Rs 2,006 to Rs 1,568.

Jio Financial Services

Production capacity increased in thermal plant

The state’s first super power thermal plant in the flood located in Patna district of Bihar has synchronized the third unit of Stage-1 on Friday. It will be run at full capacity for 72 hours from 26 March 2025 to 72 hours. So that commercial production can be started from this new unit. In this way, three units of stage-1 of the flood super power thermal plant and two units of Stage-2 will start to be produced completely.
Explain that the three units built in stage-1 of this NTPC have 660 MW capacity from each, while two units of Stage-2 also have a capacity of 660 MW. In this way, a total of 1980 MW will be made from the three units of Stage-1 and 1320 MW power is already being produced from two units of second stage. Bihar is getting 87 percent from two units of Stage-2 i.e. 1153 MW of Bihar. Now Bihar will get 61 percent of the three units of Stage-1 i.e. 1202 MW.

The state government is very excited with this achievement of NTPC. Energy Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav said that flood thermal power plant is an important achievement towards strengthening the energy security of Bihar. The successful implementation of this project will ensure uninterrupted and cheap power supply to the state, which will benefit industrial areas, agriculture, trade and domestic consumers. The successful implementation of flood power heat project will play an important role in making Bihar self-sufficient in the field of energy as well as taking the development of the state to new heights.

Construction of third unit completed in March 2025

The flood was a major challenge for NTPC that a Russian company was given the task of creating three units of stage-1. The company was given a work order to start work in 2005. After this, this Russian company had a dispute with NTPC. The dispute went on from 2005 to 2014 and its brunt was raised by the flood thermal plant and its construction was delayed. Then the responsibility of fulfilling it was entrusted to another company, which fulfilled it in a phased manner. The first unit of Stage-1 was completed in November 2021, second unit August 2023 and third unit in March 2025.
