China DF-5B ICBM: China’s official TV channel CCTV has shared important information of its highly...

China DF-5B ICBM: China’s official TV channel CCTV has shared important information of its highly powerful intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) DF-5B for the first time. This missile is so powerful that a nuclear attack can be carried out to any corner of America. The time for this disclosure is very special, because tension is increasing between China and Western countries, especially with America, Taiwan, South China Sea and military expansion.

The specialty and range of DF-5B
DF-5B is a two-step, Silo-based missile that was prepared in the early 1970s and posted in 1981. Its length is 32.6 meters, diameter 3.35 meters and weighs about 183 tonnes.

This missile can take a single atomic warhead, which has a capacity of 3 to 4 megatons TNT – that is, about 200 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Its range is up to 12,000 kilometers (7,460 mi), which can easily attack the US and Western Europe.

Important part of China’s nuclear power
Experts believe that making public information public is a strategic effort to show China’s nuclear resistance. This missile is an important part of China’s grassroots, marine and air force and strengthens the capacity of another attack.

Former PLA instructor Song Zhongping said that DF-5 played an important role in establishing China’s nuclear capacity globally. He said, “If DF-5 was not there, China would not have been considered as a strong nuclear nation.”

Indication of upcoming generation missiles
Song Zongping believes that making public information public can be part of the preparation to introduce a new generation ICBM missiles. This step is also considered to be a sign of change in China’s military transparency. With this, China wants to convey the message that its defense strength is strong and it is ready to compete with any challenge.

China is engaged in increasing nuclear strength
On 25 September 2024, China’s Defense Ministry reported that the People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force (PLARF) tested an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), probably the modern version of the DF-31.

According to the Pentagon, China has more than 600 nuclear weapons and can cross 1000 by 2030. The US Department of Defense has also estimated that China has built around 320 missiles in three big places.

China’s ‘No-first-use’ policy
Apart from India, China is the only country that follows the ‘No First Use’ policy. This means that he will not first attack any country and will not use it against non-nuclear countries.

After the Military conflict between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack, the discussion...

After the Military conflict between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack, the discussion of nuclear weapons intensified. Actually, India and Pakistan are such neighboring countries in the world, which are endowed with nuclear power. In such a situation, the eyes of the world were on the military struggle of these countries and it was feared that Pakistan could use nuclear weapons on India at any time. This is also because Pakistan was constantly being threatened with the use of nuclear weapons.

There are only 9 countries in the world with India and Pakistan, which have nuclear weapons. These countries are- America, Russia, China, France, Britain, North Korea and Israel. If we look at the number of nuclear weapons, then about 90 percent of the world’s nuclear bombs are with Russia and America. In such a situation, the question is whether the nuclear weapons of the world’s nuclear -powerful countries can be hacked? What will happen if this happens? How much destruction will happen in the world? Let’s know …

World’s most powerful weapon

Atomic bombs are called the most powerful weapon in the world. This is because after World War II, the US used these weapons in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Japan and in the blink of an eye, both these cities were cleaned half and thousands of people died. After this, these weapons have not been used till date. However, today 9 countries of the world have more powerful nuclear weapons than before, so it is very frightening to guess their firepower.

Can nuclear weapons be hacked?

The recently released Hollywood film Eye Mission Impossible is based on this, in which an invisible enemy (AI) hacks nuclear weapons from all over the world one by one. All this looks very easy in films, but if seen practically, this work is very difficult. In fact, the 9 countries of the world who have nuclear weapons have kept their nuclear bases very secret, even very few information about these weapons is available in public domains. Therefore, it is very difficult to be hacked. However, the way cyber crimes are increasing in the world and big hackers are challenging the security system around the world by cyber attacks, it cannot be said that it is impossible to hack the missiles and other weapons, because all the missiles and navigation are based. In such a situation, they can be hacked. As far as nuclear weapons are concerned, there are security of many layers from hardware to software and they are equipped with high military grade incribution. Along with this, these weapons are not always assembled. In such a situation, even if one of the facility is hacked, then their operation will be very difficult.

India vs Pakistan: In the Pahalgam terror attack, 26 innocent and the way innocent people...

India vs Pakistan: In the Pahalgam terror attack, 26 innocent and the way innocent people were brutally murdered, it will definitely be avenged. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given this message of terror sitting in Pakistan in harsh words. Uri, Pulwama and now Pahalgam, Pakistan’s connection has emerged in some way in all the attacks and for a long time it has also been a refuge of terrorist organizations. Due to this, the government has taken strict steps and has limited diplomatic relations with Pakistan. India has taken all the steps such as visa ban, exile of Pakistanis, suspending Indus Water Treaty, Reduction of Staff in High Commission, closing of Attari-Wagah border.

Pakistan is very scared of this action of India. In this nervousness, Pak PM Shahbaz Sharif is talking to America, sometimes he is pleading for help from his friend countries. Not only this, the Pakistani ministers are also seen giving strange statements, in which his fury is clearly visible. Sometimes he talks about war and sometimes threatens. However, Pakistan is miles away from India in terms of nuclear weapons. If he does any such act and India replied, then he would not have even thought about the fate of Pakistan.

India has 180 nuclear weapons, how many with Pakistan?
The 2025 report of the Federation of American Scientist gave the details of the nuclear power of the two countries and it has been told who has how many weapons. According to the report, India has a stock of 180 nuclear weapons, while Pakistan has only 172 weapons. Talking about the wind and sea, if he does any such act in these areas, then he will have to bear such a big brunt that many years will pass in it.

How much is India’s nuclear power in the air?
In the case of air delivered weapon, in the case of air, India has three types of aircraft, which have the ability to attack with nuclear weapons. According to the report of Bulletin of the Atomic Scientist, India has Mirage 2000h, Jaguar HS and Rafale Air Dilli Vapan. Mirage 2000 has also been used in Kargil and Balakot air strikes. Talking about Pakistan, it has two types of aircraft, which are capable of carrying nuclear weapons. These include Mirage III and IV.

How strong India than Pakistan in the sea?
India have four types of nuclear missiles to attack the sea, including Dhanush, K-15, K-4 and K-5. Dhanush is a short range ballistic missile and its range is 350 to 600 km. At the same time, the range of K-15 is up to 700-750 km and this missile is also capable of carrying warheads up to 500-1000 kg. K-4 and K-5 are long range ballistic missiles. K-4 range is 3,500 km, while the range of K-5 ranges from 5000 to 6000 km. All these missiles can be launched from submarine. Pakistan has only Babur-3 nuclear missile to attack the sea.

Who is ahead in attacking the ground?
Talking about land, both India and Pakistan have eight types of nuclear missiles. India has Prithvi-II, Agni-I, II, III, IV, V, VI, P, while Pakistan has Abdali, Ghajanvi, Shaheen-I, II, III, Gauri, Nasar and Babur 1A/2 missiles. Agni-I medium range is a ballistic missile, which has a range of 700 to 1250 km, Agni-II, III, IV, V, VI is an intimate range ballistic missile and their range is from 2000 to 5000 km. Prithvi-II is a short range ballistic missile and its range is up to 150 km.
