Russia has appealed to be vigilant about nuclear rhetoric due to a dispute between US President Donald Trump and former Russian President Dimitri Medvedev. Kremlin spokesperson Dimitri Peskov said on Monday that Russia takes nuclear non -proliferation seriously and all sides should take great care in this subject.

Angered by the warnings of Dimitri Medvedev, Trump said that he has ordered two nuclear submarines to be deployed in ‘appropriate areas’ near Russia. He took this decision seriously taking Medvedev’s ‘inflammatory and silly’ statements.

Medvedev’s threats and Trump’s response
Medvedev warned Trump that every new ultimatum is a step towards war. Trump recently reduced the ceasefire of the ceasefire from 50 days to 10–12 days in Ukraine, which Medvedev expressed his displeasure.

Russia’s response and Vaitchoff’s visit to Moscow
Russia welcomed Trump’s special messenger Steve Vitkoff’s visit to Moscow. Peskov said, ‘We are always happy to see Vitkoff in Moscow. Such contacts are important and helpful. He also indicated a possible meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

A maximum of 20 submarine -launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs) can be deployed in each submarine. His main weapon is Trident II D5 missile.

Virginia-class
The US has 24 nuclear attack submarines of Virginia-Class, including submarines such as USS HAWAII, USS Missouri, and USS North Carolina. These submarines can enter the enemy’s field with extremely calm operating capacity and can run calibra, onix or grenite missiles, as well as equipped with deadly torpedos.

Russia-as tensions: Victor Vodolatski, a senior member of the Russian Parliament Duma, has claimed that the two American nuclear submarines have been ordered by US President Donald Trump to deploy against Russia, already an eye of Russian nuclear submarines. Meanwhile, reacting to the recent interview of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov said that Russia agrees that there should be no direct military confrontation between Washington and Moscow. He said, “When European countries are trying to include Ukraine in NATO and are preparing for a confrontation with Russia, the US has taken a responsible stand.” Lavrov admitted that this shared understanding has been made through dialogue between the US and Russia, which is necessary for global stability.
