India Deploys Nuclear War Head: Kept ready on nuclear submarine. The recently released SIPRI report states that India has about 190 nuclear weapons. These have also increased in the last few years.

This change is an important step towards strengthening India’s nuclear triad i.e. air, land and sea security. India is also taking decisions like canistering missiles and maritime deterrence patrolling. India’s nuclear program has always been one of defence. There has been no attack.

Has the policy changed?
Now the question is arising that if India’s policy has changed, it is not so. India’s nuclear policy is based on no first use. In such a situation, India will never launch a nuclear attack first. This attack will only be a retaliatory action. That means if any country makes a nuclear attack on India, it will be attacked. Its purpose is only to stop the enemies.

Here, Pakistan is also engaged in the race for nuclear power with India. Pakistan has 170 nuclear weapons. It is likely to increase in the coming decades. During Operation Sindoor, it was believed that the tension between the two countries could reach a nuclear attack.

America and China are spending heavily on nuclear weapons, India also increased

The report of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons has claimed that the global expenditure on nuclear weapons has reached its record level in 2025. It has been claimed that India has also increased its expenditure on nuclear weapons. In terms of open expenditure, we are far behind China and far behind America. According to statistics, a total of $119 billion will have been spent on nuclear weapons in the world by 2025.
