<p>Tomorrow, October 21, banks will remain open in most cities. According to the RBI list, banks will remain closed tomorrow in Mumbai, Bhopal, Belapur, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Jammu, Nagpur, Raipur and Srinagar on the occasion of Diwali Amavasya (Lakshmi Pujan) / Deepawali / Govardhan Puja. On October 21, bank branches in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Agartala, Kanpur, Shimla, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Aizawl, Itanagar, Kochi, Kohima, Panaji, Ranchi, Shillong, Thiruvananthapuram and Vijayawada, Patna will remain open normally. </p>
<p>The cities that will remain closed on both days (20 October and 21 October) are: Bhopal, Gangtok, Guwahati and Raipur. Banks in Delhi will remain closed today, while banks in Mumbai will remain closed tomorrow.</p>

Generally banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturday of the month as well as on Sundays. As per RBI bank holiday rules, banks across India remain closed on these days. Banks are going to open tomorrow i.e. from Monday, but in the meantime banks are going to remain closed for many more days.
