Ola Electric, one of the large electric two-wheeler companies, has recently started delivery to the customers of its electric motorcycle road. The company has offered benefits of Rs 10,000 for its initial 5,000 customers. This includes free extended warranty for batteries, free subscription of Moveos+ and free ‘Essential Care’ service.

The range of 2.5 khh variants of this electric motorcycle is about 140 kilometers, 3.5 kwh about 196 km and 4.5 kwh variants of about 252 km. Its 2.5 kwh variant can reach a speed of 0-40 km/h in only 3.4 seconds. The variants of its 3.5 kwh and 4.5 kwh can reach this speed in just 3.1 seconds.

The top speed of 2.5 kwh of Roadster X is 105 km/h, 3.5 kwh and 4.5 kwh variants of 118 km/h. The peak power output of this motorcycle is 9.38 HP. The 2.5 kwh battery variant of Roadster X is priced at Rs 74,999, Rs 84,999 of 3.5 kwh and Rs 95,999 for 4.5 kwh (ex-showroom). All variants of this electric motorcycle have a 4.3-inch LCD instrument panel with features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-turn navigation, reverse mode and cruise control. In the electric motorcycle segment, Ola Electric will compete with electric two-wheeler companies such as Ultraviolette. Recently Ultraviolette launched Shockwave Electric Motorcycle. It has received good response from customers. The IDC range in the single charge of Shockwave is about 165 km. The output of this electric motorcycle is 14 hp of power.
