After 41 years, Canada finally accepted the truth which India has been saying for four decades regarding the bomb blast in Air India Flight 182 (Kanishka blast). On June 23, 1985, Air India Flight 182 was flying on the Montreal-London-New Delhi route when the plane fell into the Atlantic Ocean due to a bomb explosion at an altitude of about 9,400 meters in Irish airspace. A total of 329 people died in this accident.

Canada admitted the truth after 41 years

After this blast, Canada has been celebrating June 23 as National Terrorism Victims Remembrance Day. Permanent monuments are installed in several Canadian cities, including Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. However, Canada never accepted that Khalistani terrorists had planted a bomb in this plane. Now after 41 years, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) has accepted the involvement of Khalistani terrorists in this bomb blast.

Canada’s intelligence agency described the Kanishka bomb blast as a heinous act of terrorism and blamed Canada-based Khalistani terrorists for planting an explosive device in the plane. CSIS posted on Facebook, ‘On National Memorial Day for the Victims of Terrorism, CSIS remembers the 329 people aboard Air India Flight 182 who lost their lives in the heinous terrorist attack.’

Khalistani extremists had planted the bomb: Canada

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service said, ‘On June 23, 1985, a bomb planted by Khalistani extremists based in Canada exploded the plane, killing all people on board. Most of those killed were Canadians. It is the deadliest terrorist attack in Canadian history and marked a turning point for our national security community. At that time CSIS had been formed for less than a year. For the past four decades, we have been committed to protecting Canadians from politically, religiously and ideologically motivated violence.

India reiterates resolve to fight terrorism

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the Air India 182 ‘Kanishka’ bomb blast on Tuesday (23 June 2026) on the 41st anniversary of the incident and said that India reiterates its resolve to deal with all forms of terrorism. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney described the bombing as “the worst attack in Canadian history” and said his country stands against all forms of violent extremism.

Ajit Kumar Doval was born on 20 January 1945 in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. 81 year old Doval is also called the Indian James Bond because his life of espionage and security is no less than film stories. He has been the National Security Advisor (NSA) of India since 2014 and is now serving his third term, the longest in India’s history.

Became a hero by stopping Hindu-Muslim riots

Ajit Doval’s father was an army officer and mother was the cousin of former UP Chief Minister and Congress leader Hemwanti Nandan Bahuguna. After studying at a military school and obtaining an economics degree from Agra University, Doval became an IPS from the Kerala cadre in 1968. Doval was first appointed in Kottayam, then became ASP in Thalassery in 1971 and then became a hero.

In fact, when Doval took charge in Thalassery, Hindu-Muslim riots were raging. He first gathered intelligence and explained the reason for the anger to the people. People’s belongings were looted during the riots. Doval caught the robbers and people got their belongings back. Doval had normalized the situation within a week. Former Kerala DGP Alexander Jacob wrote in his report, ‘Doval had played an important role in controlling the riots.’

• He is the only police officer in India to receive the Kirti Chakra (Gallantry Award in Peacetime). He is the youngest officer to receive this award.

He further said that this decision was not of Indira Gandhi alone. This was a joint decision of the army, police, intelligence department and civil service. He said that the blame for this cannot be placed only on Mrs. Gandhi. will you do that? Talking about the situation in today’s Punjab, Chidambaram said that the demand for Khalistan has almost ended. Now the real problem of Punjab is economic problem.

Nishikant dubey on Congress and sikh communication: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey has accused the Congress party of repeatedly making political tricks with the Sikh community. BJP MP made these allegations against Congress

The BJP MP alleged that at the time of attack on the Golden Temple in 1984 and the death of innocent devotees, the Congress deliberately made Giani Zail Singh the President. He alleged that the sentiments of the Sikh community were ignored at that time.

Nishikant Dubey also said that in 2004, Dr. Manmohan Singh was introduced as Prime Minister to save the main accused (HKL Bhagat, Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar) of the 1984 anti -Sikh riots.
