India has reprimanded Pakistan badly in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). India bluntly said that Pakistan’s history of genocide and violence has been extremely tainted and to hide its failures, it spreads terror inside and outside its country. This heated debate took place during the annual discussion organized in the UNSC on the topic ‘Protection of Civilians in Armed Conflicts’.

India’s befitting reply to Kashmir chanting

India completely rejected Pakistan’s attempt to raise the issue of Kashmir and exposed the violent face of Pakistan in front of the whole world. During the meeting, when the Pakistani representative tried to raise the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Harish Parvatneni, gave him a befitting reply.

The Indian Ambassador said, ‘It is very strange and ridiculous that Pakistan, which has an old and tainted history of genocide, is today talking on issues which are completely internal matters of India.’

India also raised the issue of air strikes on Afghanistan by Pakistan in March this year on the global platform. Ambassador Parvathneni said, the world has not forgotten that during the holy month of Ramadan in March, when there was an atmosphere of peace and prayer all around, Pakistan carried out a barbaric air attack on ‘Umid Nasha Mukti Hospital’ in Kabul.

Citing UN figures, India said that 269 innocent civilians lost their lives and 122 people were injured in this cowardly attack. A hospital cannot in any way be described as a military base. This attack happened when people were coming out of the mosque after evening prayers.

Called Pakistan ‘hypocrite’

Calling Pakistan ‘hypocritical’, India said that a country which targets innocent civilians in the dark, how can it invoke international law.

The Indian Ambassador further said that this can only be expected from Pakistan, because it is a country which bombs its own people and commits genocide by planning. India turned the pages of history and reminded that during ‘Operation Searchlight’ in 1971, the Pakistani Army itself had given government support to the large-scale rape and torture of 4 lakh women of their country (then East Pakistan, now Bangladesh).
