Amidst the ongoing tension since Operation Sindoor, the navies of India and Pakistan have issued notice regarding firing drills in the Arabian Sea. The special thing is that there is a distance of only 60 nattical miles in the firing of the two countries to be held on Monday (August 11, 2025). In such a situation, the eyes of the whole world have been put on the Maritime Boundary (International Maritime Border) of India and Pakistan.

According to the information, the Indian Navy has issued a warning in the North Arabian Sea regarding the firing drill from warships for 11 August (Monday). This exercise of the Indian Navy will run from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm on Monday. However, on behalf of the Navy, it has not been informed about this drill which warship will be firing. It has also not been told which missile will be practiced.

Use during firing drill

The Navy has issued this notice, from cargo ships and oil tankers passing through the region to the warship of naval navies from other countries, so that this sea area is not used for navigation during firing drills.

On the other hand, the Pakistani Navy has issued a two-day (11-12 August) warning in its maritime limit regarding the firing drill. This drill will run from 4 am to 3 pm on Monday. The Pakistani Navy has also not revealed the missiles used in the drill etc.

Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif claimed on Saturday (August 09, 2025) that during the recent struggle, the Indian Armed Forces could neither be able to target nor destroy any aircraft of his army. Singh said, ‘We have indicated at least one AWC and some F-16 aircraft in the AWC Hangar, which are being maintained there. We have a strong knowledge of killing at least five fighter aircraft, including a large aircraft, which can be either aircraft or AWC (Airborne Warning and Control System), which was targeted from a distance of about 300 km.

No such claim for three months

As a result of this operation, a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones and some of their missiles also fell into the Indian region. Asif claimed in a post on social media that India could neither target a Pakistani aircraft nor destroy.

He said, “There was no such claim for three months, while Pakistan immediately gave detailed technical information to the international media.” Asif said that the late statement by the Indian Air Force chief about the destruction of Pakistani aircraft during ‘Operation Sindoor’ is ‘as unreliable as they are at the wrong time.’

Heavy losses to Indian armed forces on the Line of Control

Army got back-end support

Rajnath Singh said that during Operation Sindoor, we saw how you (civil employees) also gave back-end support to our army. Different departments of the Ministry of Defense also played all their roles well, due to which we could carry out such successful operations.

During this, Rajnath Singh took a dig at and said that there is hardly any position in the government, which I have not played, whether here (Ministry of Defense) or Ministry of Home Affairs, except one up to one, i.e. PMO.

‘Operation Mahadev’ starts from the day of Pahalgam attack
