The allegations of long-standing relationship between Pakistan and the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) have once again received evidence. Lashkar’s deputy chief and alleged mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack, Saifullah Kasuri, has openly admitted his close relations with the Pakistan Army. In a video that surfaced, Kasuri claimed that the Pakistan Army regularly invites him to its functions and even invites him to lead the funeral prayers of soldiers.

Kasuri gave this statement while addressing the children during a program organized in a school in Pakistan. In the video he is seen saying that Pakistan Army sends him a formal invitation. His statement has exposed the claims of the Pakistan government in which it has been talking about action against terrorism in international forums.

Threat to India, comment on Operation Sindoor

Saifullah Kasuri also made provocative statements regarding India. He claimed that India was scared of him. Even before this, he had given controversial statements regarding India’s Operation Sindoor. Kasuri admitted that this operation caused damage to terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, but also said that India had made a mistake. He reiterated that Lashkar-e-Taiba will not back down from its agenda regarding Kashmir.

In another rally, Kasuri had expressed pride in calling himself the mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack. He had said that after this allegation his name has become famous all over the world. It is noteworthy that 26 innocent civilians were killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22.

Background of Operation Sindoor

In response to the Pahalgam attack, India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, under which terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and PoK were targeted. After this, drone and missile attacks took place between the two countries for four days. Finally, on May 10, an agreement was reached between India and Pakistan to stop the conflict.

PMML was established in 2024 just before the general election held in Pakistan and it also fielded its candidates in the general election. The motive behind forming the party was told that Pakistan is to make an Islamic welfare country. Hafiz Saeed’s son and party president Talha was the party’s biggest star candidate in the election. Talha contested from Lahore, but lost. The master mind of the Pahalgam attack was the star candidate number two of the Saifullah Kasuri Party. He contested the election of Kasuri-6 seat in the Provincial Assembly of Punjab province and he also lost the election.

It is not that Saifullah Kasuri is trying to hide his antics in Pakistan. He himself is present on Facebook and since Operation Sindoor, he is constantly posting videos of meeting people, attending rallies, giving videos on his Facebook account. A day earlier, he has tagged poison against India by tagging the Facebook account of Pakistan’s army, but he is doing all this by wearing a political party.
