Pahlaj Nihalani was asked about Divya Bharti’s casting, he said- ‘Musician Jatin Pandit introduced her to Divya. For the first time, I was not impressed by seeing photos of Divya. His face looked very heavy in photos. Then he advised Divya to lose weight. Later, when Divya was called to Film City again, the shooting of Shola and Shabnam had started. Now she looked fine, so I said she can start shooting from tomorrow.
