Tension between Afghanistan and Pakistan has increased once again. Kabul has taken strict action by accusing Pakistan of attacking universities and residential areas and has summoned Pakistan’s Charge d’Affairs in this matter.

Pak official summoned in Kabul
Afghanistan’s Foreign Ministry summoned Pakistan’s Chargé d’Affairs in Kabul. According to the ministry, this action has been taken in protest against the alleged attacks on a university located in Kunar province and on civilian targets and public structures around the Durand Line.

Allegations of attack on university and residential areas
Afghan officials say that on Monday, mortar and missile attacks were carried out by Pakistan, in which a university in northeastern Afghanistan and surrounding civilian areas were targeted. At least 7 people died in this attack, while 85 people are said to be injured.

News of attack in Asadabad also
According to local officials, along with houses in the capital Asadabad, Syed Jamaluddin Afghani University was also targeted. Taliban government’s deputy spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat also alleged that these attacks were carried out by Pakistan. He said that mortars and rockets were fired at around 2 pm on Monday afternoon.

Pakistan called the allegations false
Whereas Pakistan has completely rejected all these allegations. Pakistan’s Information Ministry says that the news of targeting universities and residential areas is completely wrong and baseless.

First violence after peace talks
It is noteworthy that in the beginning of April, peace talks were held between the two countries under the mediation of China. After this, this is being said to be the first major incident of violence. Earlier on Sunday, news of violent clashes had come to light on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Kandahar area. According to reports, there was firing between the two sides in Spin Boldak area, in which six Pakistani soldiers were claimed to have been killed.

Hostage and counterclaims
Quoting sources, it was said that Taliban fighters took a Pakistani soldier hostage and also took weapons with them. However, these claims have not been officially confirmed yet. It is being told that a local child died in the firing from Pakistan late night, after which the Taliban retaliated. After this incident the tension between the two countries has increased further.

War has started once again between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The armies of both the countries are attacking each other with artillery and tanks on the Spin Boldak-Chaman border. The Pakistani Army attacked the campus of Kunar University with a drone around 11 am on Monday (27 April 2026), in which a professor and two students are reported to have been seriously injured. In such a situation, in response to the Pakistani Army’s attack on an educational institution, Afghanistan has started attacking Pakistan.

Afghanistan’s surgical strike on Pakistani post

On Sunday (April 26, 2026), Pakistan had also targeted the Angoor Adda border post of the Afghanistan Army with a drone. After this, the Afghan army crossed the Spin Boldak border and conducted a surgical strike on the Pakistani post, killing 4 Pakistani soldiers and taking 1 Pakistani soldier hostage and took them away from Afghanistan. In this operation conducted at midnight, the Afghan army also captured the weapons of Pakistani soldiers.

A video of a child running outside to save his life has also surfaced after the Pakistani Army attack on Syed Jamaluddin Afghani University located in Kunar, Afghanistan. According to the Defense Ministry of Afghanistan, retaliatory action was taken in Spin Boldak area near Durand Line.

Last month both countries agreed on ceasefire

Pakistan and Afghanistan had agreed on a temporary ceasefire from March 18 to 23 in view of Eid, but Afghanistan alleges that Pakistan’s army is shelling despite the ceasefire. Afghanistan’s armed forces chief Fasihuddin Fitrat has many times alleged that Pakistan’s army is violating the ceasefire on the Durand Line.

When Afghanistan cornered Pakistan on international forums over the attack on civilians, Pakistan said that it had not targeted any civilian target but military infrastructure and ‘terrorist infrastructure’. Afghan Foreign Minister Aamir Khan Muttaki recently said that more than 408 people were killed and more than 260 were injured in the Pakistani attack, most of whom were patients undergoing treatment at de-addiction centers.

Pakistan, which pretended to be a peacemaker in the whole world by claiming to stop the war between Iran and America, has again shown its reality by targeting common people in Afghanistan on Monday (April 27, 2026). Pakistani Army carried out several drone attacks on Syed Jamaluddin University located in Kunar province of Afghanistan. ABP News has got several videos right after the Pakistani drone attack, in which the university library is testifying about the drone attack and students are seen running out of the university building to save their lives.

Pakistan targeted Afghan students and common people

Similarly, a stampede is seen outside the university after the Pakistani Army attack and children are seen running away from the university to save their lives. ABP News also has a picture of the roof of the university, which is testifying to the drone attack of Pakistani Army. According to the information so far, 4 students and a professor are seriously injured in the Pakistani Army’s drone attack on Syed Jamaluddin University.

A big update has come out regarding the ongoing war between Afghanistan and Pakistan. A temporary ceasefire has been announced by both the countries. The reason behind this is said to be the festival of Eid.

Pak-Afghanistan ready for ceasefire

According to the information, after the request of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Qatar, Pakistan has agreed for temporary ceasefire. Pakistan has decided to stop the conflict with Afghanistan for the next 5 days. From midnight of 18-19 March to midnight of 23-24 March, Pakistan will not attack Afghanistan or TTP positions due to Eid.

However, Pakistan has also said that if there is any drone attack or other attack in the meantime, then it will start attacking Afghanistan and TTP again.

Afghanistan ready for temporary ceasefire

Afghanistan has also announced a temporary ceasefire with Pakistan due to Eid. Afghanistan government spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid posted on social media platform X that there will be a ceasefire with Pakistan till Eid at the behest of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Türkiye. However, if Pakistan attacks in the meantime, a response will be given.

Afghanistan expressed gratitude for the efforts of the mediating countries. Government spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in his post, “The mediator expresses gratitude for the good intentions of the friendly mediating states in Afghanistan, while also reaffirming that safeguarding the national security and sovereignty of Afghanistan and safeguarding the lives of the Afghan people are among its national and legitimate duties, and in the event of any threat, it will boldly respond to any aggression.”

More than 400 died in Pakistani attack

According to Taliban officials and local media, more than 400 people were killed and at least 250 were injured in a Pakistani airstrike on a large de-addiction hospital in Kabul on March 16. According to Taliban government officials, this attack was carried out at around 9 pm targeting the 2,000-bed Umeed Nasha Mukti Hospital in Kabul. According to Khaama Press, officials described this attack as one of the most dangerous attacks in Kabul in recent years.

400 people have been killed in the air-strike carried out by Pakistan in Afghanistan, due to which the Pakistan Super League is in danger. Even if PSL starts, questions are being raised on the safety of the players. Australia Cricket Board has already asked its players to be cautious. Let us tell you that famous Australian players like Steve Smith, David Warner, Marnus Labuschagne and Glenn Maxwell are going to play in the next season of Pakistan Super League.

PSL 11 is going to start from 26th March. Australian coaches Tim Paine and Jason Gillespie are also part of this league. Despite the bad situation between Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Australian Cricket Board has given permission to its players and coaches to go to Pakistan, and has also advised them to avoid traveling to Peshawar.

According to Australian media channel ‘Code Sports’, Australian players can go to Pakistan to play PSL, but they have been advised to maintain distance from Peshawar. PSL matches are to be played in Peshawar, but the Australian Cricket Board has declared Peshawar a ‘no travel zone’.

Due to this, the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Rawalpindi Pindies to be held on March 28 is in danger. Australian players are present in both the teams. Given the advisory issued by the Australian Cricket Board, Jake Fraser McGurk and Aaron Hardy may miss this match.

In the same report, Australian players have also been assured that if needed, private flights will be arranged for them. Let us tell you that even before the Pakistan Super League, all the Afghan players have withdrawn their names. Many players including Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Sediqullah Atal and Mohammad Nabi had registered for the auction, but they withdrew their names before the auction.

Taliban officials and local media reported that Pakistani air strike on a major de-addiction hospital in Kabul. (Pakistan Airstrike on Kabul Hospital) More than 400 people were killed and at least 250 people were injured.

Taliban (Taliban) According to government officials, the attack was carried out at around 9 pm targeting the 2,000-bed Ummeed Nasha Mukti Hospital in Kabul. Taliban deputy spokesperson Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat said that the attack has caused a lot of destruction in the entire hospital. Deputy spokesperson Fitrat wrote on the social media platform X, Pakistan’s military government bombed a 2,000-bed hospital named Ummeed. Due to this, most of the hospital was destroyed and the possibility of more people dying than expected has increased. He also said that the death toll has reached around 400, while more than 250 people have been injured.

Zabihullah Mujahid condemned

Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid also condemned the incident in a post on Twitter and said most of those killed were vulnerable civilians. He wrote, “Most of the innocent civilians and drug addicts died last night in a 2,000-bed hospital due to the (Pakistani military group’s) bombing. Truly, we belong to God and will return to Him.” Afghanistan’s health ministry officials said emergency teams rushed to the scene overnight, while rescue teams searched damaged parts of the hospital. Health Ministry spokesman Sharaf Zaman said at least 170 injured patients were initially sent to nearby medical facilities.

Zaman told the media, ‘The rescue operation is still going on and the death toll may increase. “Many parts of the hospital were destroyed.” Local media reported that rescue teams were trying to extinguish the fire and pull out bodies from the debris. According to Khaama Press, officials have described this attack as one of the most dangerous attacks in Kabul in recent years. The outlet reported that international celebrities immediately reacted to the incident.

United Nations Human Rights Council (United Nations Human Rights Council) Afghanistan’s special reporter Richard Bennett expressed concern over the news of civilian casualties and appealed for restraint between Kabul and Islamabad. Former Afghan peace talks negotiator Abdullah Abdullah also condemned the attack, calling it a violation of international law and saying disputes should be resolved through dialogue. Former US Special Representative for Afghan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad also expressed concern over the civilian casualties and appealed for humanitarian aid for the victims.

After the death of 337 soldiers, destruction of 184 military posts and 7 major military bases at the hands of Afghan army in 13 days of Pakistan-Afghanistan war, on Tuesday (March 10, 2026), Pakistan sent terrorist Masood Azhar’s guru, founder of terrorist organization Harkat-ul-Mujahideen and global terrorist Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman to Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, for back channel talks with the Afghan Taliban. A delegation of 3-member Maulanas has been sent under the leadership of Khalil.

Apart from global terrorist Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman Khalil, who is also a member of Jaish-e-Mohammed’s Shura, Jaish’s terrorist commander and PoK MLA Abdullah Saeed Shah alias Pir Mazhar Saeed Shah is also involved in the back channel talks for peace with the Afghan Taliban. The third member of the delegation also includes Maulana Sajjad Usman, the founding member of the terrorist organization Harkat-ul-Mujahideen and the financial head of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Pakistan delegation gave proposal to Taliban government

This group of terrorist commanders of Jaish-e-Mohammed was sent by Pakistan to Afghanistan for back channel talks with Taliban. According to the information, this three-member delegation also held talks with the officials of the Taliban government of Afghanistan in Kabul on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) at 4 pm and proposed peace on behalf of Pakistan.

Taliban government sets condition for ceasefire

In the 13-day-long war, Pakistan has officially talked to Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Turkey several times and sought help in mediating a ceasefire with Afghanistan, but in talks with the ministers of these countries, the Taliban government of Afghanistan has clearly said that there will be no ceasefire and peace with Pakistan until Pakistan promises in writing not to attack Afghanistan again.

PAK has already taken Jaish’s help for peace talks

According to sources, the decision to send Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist commanders for peace talks with Afghanistan could be the decision of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, because even before this, Pakistan has also taken the help of Jaish chief Masood Azhar for peace with the Afghan Taliban.

These three commanders of Jaish have participated in the Afghan Jihad against the Soviet Union before the formation of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen and later Jaish-e-Mohammed, in such a situation, the ISI and the Pakistan government are using the relations built by these terrorists with the Afghan Taliban during the Afghan Jihad for ceasefire with Afghanistan.

Pakistan has tacitly admitted that it was targeting the Indian mission in Afghanistan and its air strikes during Ramzan have mostly affected women and children. Showing diplomatic wisdom, on Monday, India’s permanent member of the UN Security Council, Harish Parvatneni, did not take the name of Pakistan while calling the air strikes on Afghanistan or cross-border terrorism against humanity. But Pakistan’s Permanent Representative Asim Iftikhar Ahmed fell into their trap believing that these things were about his country.

Pakistan took responsibility for the air attack

Iftikhar Ahmed admitted that Islamabad was behind cross-border terrorism against India and air attacks on Afghanistan, in which most of the women and children were killed. He also acknowledged that India’s aid to Afghanistan had ended, when he said that India was saddened to see its huge investment being wasted ‘because of the precise and effective action of Pakistan’.

Although it was clear from the way the statement was made who Harish was talking about, in general diplomatic practice, countries do not respond to evils in which they are not named, because to do so would be to admit that they are being accused. By not naming any country in evil, they get a chance to get out and Pakistan decided not to take it.

Harish finally told Ahmed, ‘Pakistan should look in the mirror and see its own problems, and not blame my country for the problems it is facing.’

Pakistan brutally carried out air strike in the month of Ramzan

Giving a short reply to Ahmed’s long statement, Harish said that he expected that ‘it is known to everyone that things are repeated again and again in every council meeting and the time of this respected institution is wasted.’ During his speech at the council, Harish had said, ‘On the one hand, it seems hypocritical to talk about the high principles of international law and Islamic unity and on the other hand to carry out a brutal air strike in the holy month of Ramadan.’

He further said, ‘Till March 6, 2026, these people have killed 185 innocent civilians, out of which about 55 percent are women and children.’

Harish also demanded international action against terrorism, saying, ‘Terrorism is a global scourge that is troubling humanity and only the combined efforts of the international community will ensure that those who support the operations of Islamic State, Al Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, LeT proxies like The Resistance Front, etc. are no longer involved in cross-border terrorism.’

India’s help for Afghan friends

Harish said that in the last four and a half years, India has sent more than 50,000 tonnes of wheat, 380 tonnes of medicines-vaccines and 40,000 liters of pesticides to Afghanistan. He said 1,000 out of 3,000 women have received scholarships by 2023, while India continues to provide financial and logistical support to women-led self-help groups.

Harish said in his reply, ‘India’s help is for the friendly people of Afghanistan. What we have done in Afghanistan is known to the people of Afghanistan and the international community.

On Friday (March 06, 2026), in Miranshah, Pakistan-Afghanistan border area, a major suicide attack took place at 4:30 pm on the Pakistani Army checkpoint located in the middle of the market, in which 18 people have died so far and more than 30 people are injured. Ustud Ul Khorasan (USK), a terrorist organization associated with Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group, has taken responsibility for the suicide attack.

According to the information, at 4.30 pm, a terrorist carrying explosives on a motorcycle rammed his vehicle into the army checkpoint located on Chashma bridge in Miranshah city of North Waziristan and blew himself up, due to which a massive explosion occurred. The explosion was so severe that people in the nearby market also got hit by the explosion.

18 including 5 children died

According to the information, many soldiers of Pakistani Army including 18 civilians have died in the blast, and more than 30 injured people are undergoing treatment in the District Headquarters Hospital. At present, the Pakistani Army has not given information on how many soldiers died in the blast, but 5 children are also included among the 18 civilians killed.

Hafiz was associated with Masood Azhar

Ustud ul Khorasan, the terrorist organization that carried out the suicide attack, is actually associated with Ittihad ul Mujahideen Pakistan (IMP) and works for IMP chief Hafiz Gul Bahadur. This Hafiz Gul Bahadur was himself prepared for Afghan Jihad by the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, where in the initial days, Gul Bahadur was trained in Masood Azhar’s training camp in Bannu. Also, after returning from Afghanistan, Hafiz Gul Bahadur had joined terrorist Masood Azhar and used to recruit terrorists for Jaish-e-Mohammed in Datta Khel and Miranshah to attack India.

Hafiz also ran a madrassa

Apart from this, he also ran his own madrasa, where after getting the terrorists trained, he used to send 60 percent of the terrorists to Afghanistan and 40 percent of the terrorists to Kashmir to fight for Jaish-e-Mohammed and Al Badr. However, after the Lal Masjid incident, when a terrorist organization named Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was born, Hafiz Gul Bahadur also joined those terrorists who started a war against Pakistan and this war is still going on against Pakistan.
