Within three days of the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India handed over concrete evidence to the US to include the Pakistan-backed terrorist organization The Resistance Front (TRF) in the list of official terrorist organizations of America.

According to the report of News18, the intelligence and technical data that India handed over to America met the high standards of US State Department. This process of America is important in this sense because it is largely free from the political complexities of forums like UNSC. Three days after the terrorist attack on 22 April, on 25 April, India gave complete information about the attack to major countries like America, Britain, China, Russia and France.

What did Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt tell?

Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt told the diplomats of these countries how the attack took place, how many people were killed and the initial investigation has revealed the name of TRF. This briefing was for representatives of G20 countries. India clearly said in these meetings that TRF is not a separate organization, but a new form of Pakistan based Lashkar-e-Taiba. India continuously explained this to America and other Western countries.

What did India talk to America?

1. TRF is a proxy organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba and works on its gestures.

2. Sheikh Sajjad Gul’s name has appeared as the mastermind of TRF in India’s NIA investigation.

3. TRF has already taken responsibility for many terrorist attacks.

4. Its activities are similar to other terrorist organizations of Pakistan.

The US took these things and evidence of India seriously. Declaring TRF as a terrorist organization on July 18, the US State Department admitted that the intelligence inputs and evidence given by India are completely reliable and TRF is part of Lashkar.

Ishaq Dar tried to save TRF

Meanwhile, there is also news that Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar tried to save TRF. The reports claimed that he removed TRF’s name from the statement of the United Nations Security Council, while TRF himself took responsibility for the Pahalgam attack.

According to sources, this witness has told that after the attack, three Pakistani terrorists had fired four rounds in the air in the celebration.

Witness gets the status of ‘Star Protected Witness’

Investigation agencies have declared this local eyewitness as Star Protected Witness. The NIA got this witness with the help of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Intelligence Agencies. This person was near the spot just after the attack and he had encouraged the terrorists.

An investigating officer told the Indian Express, “The terrorists stopped him and asked him to read Kalma. He read Kalma in the local Kashmiri accent, which did not suspect the terrorists and left him. Soon after, he fired four in the air.” Based on the witness’s statement, the NIA has recovered four vacant cartridges from the scene.

The role of local helpers also surfaced

The witness also told that he had seen two locals named Parvez Ahmed Jothar and Bashir Ahmed handling the goods of terrorists in the hilly area. After some time the terrorists left with the goods. The investigation has revealed that Parvez and Bashir have already been arrested on charges of assisting terrorists.

Planning for attack was made like this

According to sources, on April 21, at 3:30 pm, three Pakistani terrorists reached Parvez’s house. There he raked the entire area for four hours, in which security arrangements, tourist spots and routes were taken. On the way, Pervez’s wife got spices and rice packed and gave five notes of 500 rupees. Later he met Bashir and asked to be ready on 22 April at 12:30 pm.

Doubt on the role of Suleman Shah

The NIA suspects that Suleman Shah, a terrorist associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, has previously been involved in the murder of 7 laborers working in a tunnel project.

Increased scope of investigation

NIA is now investigating the link from the entire terrorist network, local colleagues and Pakistan -based terrorist organizations behind this attack. The relationship with Lashkar-e-Taiba has already been confirmed.
