According to the latest report of Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA), the mobile phone assembly at the local level has increased significantly compared to last year. The name that is at the top of the report till July 2025 is VGO TEL. This company created 2.12 million units in July itself, making it Pakistan’s number one smartphone assembly company.

The second number in the list is Infinix which prepared 2.01 million units. The third place is ITEL that created 1.53 million units. The fourth and fifth position are Vivo (1.38 million units) and Xiaomi (1.04 million units) respectively.

Samsung, which is counted among the largest smartphone brands worldwide, is only at number six here and produced 0.93 million units. It is followed by Tecno (0.89 million) in seventh place, Q mobile (0.72 million) at eighth, G’Five (0.7 million) on ninth and Nokia (0.65 million) in tenth place.

It is worth noting that there is neither Apple iPhone nor OnePlus in this top 10 list of Pakistan. This is the reason why iPhone prices are very high there. According to the report, the price of some iPhone models in Pakistan has reached 6 lakh Pakistani rupees. This is the reason that the iPhone is out of reach of common people.

According to the Apakistani websites, there is a possibility of increasing the sales of mobile phones in Pakistan by 7-8% in the coming 12 months. Also, around September, when brands like Samsung and Xiaomi launch new models, demand is expected to increase further. At the same time, users are also waiting for the new models of iPhone, but high prices still remain the biggest challenge.
