2. Will be accused of breaking the participation agreement

A Tournament Participation Agreement (TPA) is signed between all Full Member countries participating in ICC tournaments and the ICC. If the PCB withdraws its name from the tournament at the last moment, then the ICC can also take legal action against it for breaking this agreement.

3. ICC will ban revenue sharing worth billions of rupees

Every year, ICC gives a share of its revenue to all the member countries. Pakistan also gets a share of about 6% of the total revenue of ICC, which is likely to be around Rs 316 crore this year. Apart from this, for participating in the T20 World Cup, an amount of 5 million dollars (about Rs 46 crore) is to be received from the ICC for preparation and participation, which will not be available after the boycott. Apart from this, Pakistan was to get an amount of 2 million dollars (about Rs 18 crore) as prize money and other types of earnings related to matches for participating in the tournament, which will not be received.

4. NOC of players may be banned for PSL

ICC has already warned PCB that NOC can also ban foreign players for playing in Pakistan Super League (PSL). For this, along with ICC, cricket boards like Australia, West Indies, New Zealand, South Africa and England will also cooperate.
