The situation in Pakistan and the inflation there are not hidden from anyone. The people of Pakistan are so fed up with their leaders and the policies of the government there that now they do not hesitate to cry bitterly even in front of foreign vloggers. Recently, a video is going viral on social media in which an Indian vlogger has gone to visit Pakistan, as soon as he enters a vegetable market, the people there start talking bad about their government. You will also be surprised after watching the video.

Troubled by inflation, Pakistanis expressed their grief to Indian vloggers.

Actually, a video is becoming increasingly viral on social media which is said to be from neighboring country Pakistan. In the video, some people are selling vegetables in the market and an Indian vlogger who has gone to visit Pakistan is talking to them. During this, Pakistani people selling vegetables tell Indian vloggers that Nawaz Sharif looted us and ate us, Nawaz Sharif ate the entire country. Even the Indian vlogger is surprised to hear this.

Indian vlogger cuts edge

After this, when the Indian vlogger starts leaving from there, a Pakistani man abuses Nawaz Sharif on camera, after which the Indian vlogger says that I have nothing to say brother, I have to go back to my home and I will not say anything against the government. After this the Indian vlogger leaves from there. It is noteworthy that the prices of vegetables, fruits and gas cylinders are skyrocketing in Pakistan due to which the people there remain very worried.

Users reacted like this

The video has been shared from a Facebook account named Gaffar Musafir, which has been viewed by millions of people so far and many people have also liked the video. In such a situation, social media users are giving different types of reactions regarding the video. One user wrote…this is the condition of both the countries. Another user wrote… If we look at the currency of Pakistan, then there is equal inflation in India too. So another user wrote…Petrol is cheaper in Pakistan than in India.

Pakistan’s government-owned companies are becoming a heavy burden on the country’s economy. According to a new report, the net loss of these companies has increased by 300 percent, while the government help given from taxpayers’ money has increased to Rs 2.1 trillion (local currency).

In an editorial of Pakistani newspaper The Express Tribune, the situation has been described as extremely worrying. According to the report, the total revenue of government companies declined by Rs 1.4 trillion to Rs 12.4 trillion in fiscal year 2025. At the same time, the total net loss of these companies increased to Rs 122.9 billion, which was Rs 30.6 billion last year.

Government companies become the mirror of financial crisis
It has been said in the editorial that if Pakistan’s financial crisis has to be understood on any single scale, then it is the performance of government companies. The report termed it a catastrophic structural failure, which is continuously draining public resources and undermining the country’s economic stability.

National Highway Authority and power companies are the biggest losers.
National Highway Authority and electricity distribution companies are still facing huge losses. According to the editorial, these institutions are suffering from long-standing structural deficiencies and operational inefficiencies. These problems are discussed again and again, but no effective steps are taken towards concrete improvements.

Government increasing GDP on paper
The report also said that the Government of Pakistan is promoting such sectors which show growth in GDP only on paper. Real estate is a prime example of this, where the rich class increases their wealth by investing, but it is not providing any significant benefit in actual business investment or employment creation.

The growing gap between the poor and the rich
According to the report, the real monthly income of the poorest 20 percent of families in Pakistan has declined by about 12 percent since 2019. In contrast, the income of the richest class has registered an increase of 7 percent. This is the situation when the country’s economy was going through a period of decline, the average salary outside the public sector was declining and poverty had increased rapidly.

Common people’s savings are almost gone
It has been said in the report that the savings of common people have almost exhausted. Overall, there has been a huge decline of 66 percent in savings, as families are forced to spend their savings to meet daily needs. This has had a direct impact on health and education, where expenditure has declined by about 19 percent.
According to the report, the current situation is a very worrying sign for the future of Pakistan. If structural reforms and concrete economic decisions are not taken soon, the country’s economic situation may deteriorate further.

Pakistan is currently going through the most serious talent exodus in its history. Economic distress, political uncertainty and lack of professional opportunities have made the situation such that even the most educated people of the country are being forced to go out. Recent government figures have revealed the real picture of this crisis.

According to the report of Pakistan’s Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment, the country has lost thousands of highly educated professionals in the last two years. During this period, about 5 thousand doctors, 11 thousand engineers and 13 thousand accountants have left Pakistan. These figures have come at a time when the country’s government and army leadership are constantly trying to portray the situation as normal.

The number of people going abroad is increasing every year

The report shows that in the year 2024, more than seven lakh Pakistanis registered for jobs abroad. By November 2025, this number had reached around seven lakhs. The matter of concern is that now this migration is not limited only to the working class. Doctors, engineers, accountants and people involved in research are also leaving the country rapidly.

Health sector most affected

The most profound impact of this talent exodus has been on the health sector of Pakistan. According to media reports, migration of nurses and medical staff has increased by thousands of percent in the last decade. Experts believe that if this trend continues, Pakistan will have to face a huge shortage of doctors and declining standards of health services in the coming years.

Despite airport strictness, migration did not stop

Amidst the rapidly deteriorating image and international pressure, the Shahbaz Sharif government has increased the strictness at the airports. In 2025 alone, thousands of passengers were offloaded due to incomplete documents, illegal migration or other charges. Despite this, the number of people wanting to leave the country has not decreased, which clearly shows that the problem is rooted.

Brain gain statement becomes reason for joke

Amidst this entire crisis, the old statement of Army Chief Asim Munir has again come into discussion on social media. While talking to expatriate Pakistanis in America, he described brain drain as brain gain. Now that the figures of large-scale migration of doctors and engineers have come to light, his statement is being heavily criticized.

Pakistan seems to be stuck in a bad phase of economic recession. It is facing a serious food crisis due to rising prices, which is due to the increasing gap between demand and supply of essential commodities. This has come to light in a new report. According to a report by Directus.gr, the prices of wheat, the primary source of food and nutrition for most of the population, have seen a 30-50 percent increase in just one month.

According to the report, ‘This has further increased the difficulties of the common people in Pakistan, who were already affected by the rising cost of living and the economic instability of the country. In September 2025, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) saw an increase of 5.6 percent on a year-on-year basis. Rising food inflation has led to reduction in consumption of meat and expensive items like tomatoes. People have expressed anger over the government’s failure to control food inflation, which has made their livelihood difficult.

State Bank of Pakistan’s estimate failed

Experts estimate that the overall inflation figures will be higher than the estimates of the Islamabad government and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). It is noteworthy that Pakistan Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb had said that the government is committed to price stability. However, the report said that people claimed that the government measures were only symbolic, which did not stop overcharging.

Pakistan’s economy affected by devastating floods

The Islamabad government has also blamed the floods for low agricultural production and skyrocketing prices of food items. According to experts, food inflation is likely to remain high due to floods and supply chain disruptions. Pakistan’s economy has been hit by devastating floods, which has affected agricultural production and rekindled inflationary pressures. The World Bank has projected only 2.6 percent GDP growth for Pakistan in 2025-26.

Pakistan Economic Survey Report 2024-25: The Economic Survey Report of the Government of Pakistan is giving 2024-25 testimony of what bad state the country is in. At present, a total loan of Rs 76,000 billion has been loaded on the country, including Rs 51,500 billion from domestic banks and Rs 24,500 billion rupees. In this way, a loan of more than three lakh rupees has been felt on every Pakistani citizen. Despite such a terrible situation, the Government of Pakistan and the army are busy with efforts to surround India, while the citizens of their country themselves are struggling for bread, electricity, gas and jobs on the ground.

Pakistan Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has claimed that the country’s economy is in recovery mode and by 2025 GDP growth will reach 2.7%. Pakistan’s GDP growth was -0.2% in 2023. The country’s debt is more than two-thirds of GDP. Due to this, a large part of the annual income is being spent only in paying interest. Export is $ 27.3 billion, while import $ 48.6 billion is not a recovery, but a mere cycle of debt.

IMF and economic ‘Sanjeevani’ depended on foreign countries
Even though there may have been a slight increase in Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves ($ 16.64 billion), most of it is the result of a loan taken from IMF, World Bank, and Saudi-Amirat. There is a plan to privatize 24 government companies at the behest of IMF. This has claimed to reduce the loss of 800 billion rupees annually, but it is going to fall in the coming time, the country’s employment declines, expensive services prices and a burden on the common man.

Anti-India stance tried to raise ego in poverty
When the government and army of Pakistan do not have the policy and resources to handle their country, they are still increasing the army in POK. Trying to discredit India on international forums. Busy in conspiracy and rhetoric against India, all this is only a political show so that the attention of the people can be diverted from inflation, unemployment and economic plight.

Pakistan has planned to see the 29% tariff imposed by Trump’s administration as an opportunity rather than a challenge. Recently, Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb said in a statement that Pakistan will use the change in US trade policy as an opportunity.

The US has decided to increase the tariff of 29% on the goods imported from Pakistan, which has created a big challenge in front of Pakistan’s exporters. However, the Finance Minister said that even in such difficult times, Pakistan will try to turn this challenge into opportunity. He said, ‘You should never miss the opportunity to take advantage of the good crisis. We are seeing it both as a challenge and opportunity. “

Washington will be sent high-level delegation

To solve this challenge, Pakistan is planning to send a high-level delegation to Washington. Finance Minister Aurangzeb said that after getting approval from the Prime Minister, this delegation will try to present Pakistan’s favor in the US and strengthen relations between the two countries.

Focus on economic reforms

The Finance Minister said that the Government of Pakistan is also working on various internal reforms. He appreciated the tax-revenue growth and said that by next month, Pakistan’s tax-revenue is expected to reach 10.6 percent. Apart from this, he also talked about a possible decrease in inflation fall and interest rates, which will improve Pakistan’s economic condition.

Improvement in energy sector and debt management

The Finance Minister also talked about reforms in the energy sector, where he announced a shortage of one-third in electricity rates for industries. Apart from this, the government has also extended the loan period in terms of debt management, which will help the government to reduce the burden of interest on loans.

Will you really get the benefit of this tariff

Neighboring country Finance Minister Aurangzeb may be talking about finding benefits in Trump’s tariff, but the Government of Pakistan is worried about this trade war and it is clearly visible. After the announcement of Donald Trump’s tariff, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken two committees on the matter immediately. A committee is formed under the leadership of Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb. In this, economists and people of industry have been included.

Pakistan News: Pakistan is currently stuck in heavy inflation and crisis of debt. The general public is struggling for two times of bread, but the government is making a huge increase in the salary of its ministers and officials. Recently, the cabinet of Pakistan has approved an increase in the salary of ministers, state ministers and advisors up to 188%.

After this decision, now their monthly salary will be 5,19,000 Pakistani rupees. This decision has been taken at a time when Pakistan has received the second installment of debt from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Despite the economic crisis, the leaders are kind

Pakistan’s economy is on the verge of bankruptcy. Inflation has reached record high and foreign exchange reserves are decreasing rapidly. Recently, IMF released $ 1 billion to Pakistan as the second installment of $ 7 billion loan package. But despite this financial help, the priority of the government starts increasing the facilities of its leaders and ministers instead of giving relief to the general public.

Cabinet approves

On Friday, the cabinet of Pakistan gave the green signal to an increase of 188% in the salary of ministers, state ministers and advisors. After this increase, his monthly salary has gone up to 5,19,000 Pakistani rupees. This has happened when the people of Pakistan are badly disturbed by the rising prices of flour, sugar, milk, petrol and electricity. It has also become difficult to meet the basic needs, but the government is busy in providing more facilities to its leaders.

Salary of MPs also increased

This is not the first time that the Government of Pakistan has increased the salary of its officers. Two months ago, the National Assembly Finance Committee had passed a proposal to equalize the salaries of MPs and Senators to the salary of federal secretaries. It was unanimously approved under the chairmanship of Speaker Raja Parvez Ashraf. This clearly shows that the priority of the Government of Pakistan is to provide facilities to its leaders more than helping the general public.

People upset with inflation

The general public of Pakistan is already facing rapid growing inflation. Prices of basic things like flour, pulses, sugar and milk are touching the sky. Petrol and electricity prices are steadily increasing, due to which the economic burden on the common people is increasing. Due to strict conditions of IMF, there is a possibility of heavy tax and inflation and increasing, which can increase the difficulties of the public.

Questions raised on the government

After this decision, serious questions have arisen on the policies of the Government of Pakistan. Is this an attempt to break the terms of IMF? Is the Government of Pakistan only benefiting its leaders instead of giving relief to the general public? These questions have become a matter of concern for the people of Pakistan and international organizations. If Pakistan has to get out of the economic crisis, then it will need to adopt harsh financial discipline, not to take non-essential decisions like increasing the salary of ministers.
